I just saw the SF6 Rashid gameplay reveal and the animations and combos looked great, all his hits were impactful and graceful, stunning work.
Then i watched the Johnny Cage gameplay reveal on the kombat Kast and was like WTF is this?
sorry but it just looks bad.
theres no weight or start up/anticipation to the moves so a lot of his moves look like the character is putting very little effort/energy into the move yet it bounces the opponent off the ground and miles in the air. it just looks off (same problem as injustice)
and The air combos looked so robotic like how a child would bash toys together to make them fight.
his movements were better in MK9 and that was 12 years ago. so hows it much worse now after all the improvements in technology and 12 years more development experience. it should be far better not far worse
its actually mind boggling.
Im beginning to think NRS need a new development team at least for the gameplay and animations. they need people on board that have that keen eye for details and can add that extra polish to things like what Capcom have.
because Street Fighters gameplay and animations are improving in a big noticeable way
and NRS gameplay and animations are going downhill fast.
characters dont even flip when they jump anymore and instead do this weird awkward floaty jump with their legs just dangling in the air like a saggy set of balls it looks fkin stupid.
