Well that's it... this is like the 4th time this year i've lost by 5 points or less...

Fuk it, I'm out this shit, if any of you besides trash, LC, and tits want any of my players

I'll trade them for peanuts

Wow, that sucks Marshall; less than a friggin point; don't quit yet though man.

Not gonna lie, I was on the game matchup screen hoping that Moore didn't score enough to beat me lol. I thought of replacing Dwyer w/ Redman after I heard he was injured but I didn't know he was actually out till it was too late.

What, clarity in the playoff picture? For shame!

New article is up on the league site. Happy football all.

Also, a few notes for Marshall.

1. I will not tolerate game-breakingly lopsided trades, and I have the power to veto them.
2. You have the one of the easiest remaining schedules left. The 6 seed is not yet out of your reach.

Oh and finally, in the case any of you didn't get my PM or email (lol)... the trade deadline is tomorrow. All trades must be accepted by midnight tomorrow night.

Attn: Jade...

I have a trade proposal.

I offer Matthew Stafford in exchange for Jay Cutler. Please consider this offer carefully.

That's funny, because I just checked the league settings page, and it says the Trade Deadline is November 9...which would be Friday. Is there something I'm not understanding here?

Yo Marshall, I sent ya a trade offer.

I'm thinking of also trading for another RB, but I think I'll manage without one.

Huh... so busy paying attention to everything else, I just now noticed I clinched my division this week. Sweet.

Also... I need a running back, and the waiver wire is ass. But my most tradeable asset is Heath Miller, and nobody who would want him has anything I want.

Wow... well I certainly can't veto that one... I can't even figure out which one of you is getting the better deal lol

I had to think about it for a bit because I like Cutler, he's a great player, but Stafford is better.

I win <3

Personally, I think Cutler is an upgrade over Stafford. That's not to suggest that Staff is no slouch, but he's been one of those guys who, when I start him, he gets me a sub-20 performance (such as last week, when that Leshoure douchebag stole 3 touchdowns from him), but when I put him on the bench, he gets 31.

After evaluating my roster, I came to the realization that I did not have enough ammunition to trade for a running back, or would find myself with a deficiency at WR or QB, hence the Cutler/Stafford trade.

I will never forget Cutler getting 4 points and then I benched him the next week and he got 20.

The trade time is too long.

LC and I traded on like Tuesday and it remains pending until Sunday morning?

That means I have to make sure I wake up before 1pm to set my line up.

I know trades are over after today but it should be shorter next year, and not go through on the day of games unless it works out that way (like if the wait time is 3 days and the 3rd day happens to be game day). Some people might be busy or whatever and not get to set their line up in time with their new players.

I totally agree, Jade, but on the other hand, after what happened last year I wanted to make sure that the other people in the league who are "too busy" also have time to review and vote against other people's trades. Also, what you suggest about not on game day unless it works out that was is exactly what it is like now. The trades you have made were done on Wednesday, not Tuesday. Apparently the three day period I selected doesn't count the day the trade is made, so that means the 3 days in these cases are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Had I known it wasn't going to count day the trade is accepted, I would have changed it to 2 days, and am planning on making that change next year. I don't really want to make it shorter than that unless I believed everyone was checking the thing every day like me, which really isn't likely.

Also, it's a good idea to check your lineup right before game time anyway, because sometimes players aren't announced to be out with injury until right before the game starts.

EDIT: mkray I tried my best to get Marshall's attention about your trade offer. Getting no response. Not sure what to tell you.
