Mortal Fantasy Football Kombat 2012

Okay, well, just an observation. Wasn't suppose to explode like that, though.

It isn't his fault I lost, though, my entire team has played like trash all week, so, again, I have no anger towards that guy, or the situation (disappointed, as I said). Any anger I have is fully directed at my team. They are sloppy as shit this week. The Vikings should have played way better than that garbage....and Cutler....SLIGHT recovery at the end there, but no where near the level he should be playing at.

I am just hoping that Romo does piss poor this week so I don't see a load of points on my damn bench :/

I had him in my line up for next week, quickly changed it to Weeden since neither Romo OR Cutler can darn well be trusted nowadays <.<


So, yeah, Weeden will get 2 points, Romo and Cutler will get 20, hahahaha
 
I have Flacco in my other league (ESPN) and he has kind of been a dick here and there for me, lol.

Can anyone explain to me in plain English why I seem to pull off seemingly impossible upsets when I leave 50+ points on my bench? (I know our defending champ still has a chance for a comeback, though...not much of one, given the fact that Fitz is against SF.)

Bad games by your opponents. It's the same reason I'm undefeated really. I actually had a couple of sub-70 weeks where I still won.

This is one weird-ass week. It's like everyone's playing like ass except me. I've been humbly avoiding making myself the headline all season, but I may not be able to do that this time. Anyone want to write it for me?

Sorry dude! I can't do that for you. I'm not the commissioner here, you are. It's your responsibility to write the lead story, even if the lead story just happens to be you. I understand you don't want to be the center of attention, but if you happen to be the lead story of the week, it's only fair that you write it as such.

However, if you want my opinion, it should be Vegas' upset over Jade that should be the lead story (or, if my lead over BYoung holds up, my would-be second upset of the year), if you're that hesitant about making yourself the center of attention.

Actually, if you look at the scores, Vegas scored more points than he did this week in each of the four non-bye week weeks, including a ridiculous 133 points against tittiemcnuggets the week she scored 145. There's as much luck in his first four losses as there was in some of my wins. In fact, in each of weeks 2-4 I would have lost to him if we had been playing each other.

YO, I don't mind losing, but it wasn't fair. 7 people played this guy when he had dudes in his starting line up on IR. It's easy to win a game against a guy who has injured players in his starting line up, bro. I am not saying he should have not set his line up so I could win, I am just saying that 7 people got a win handed to them when I had to actually fight for a win (lololol my team sucked dick), and, if this guy decides he is gonna continue setting his shit, then the people who play him after me have to fight for their win, too. Just saying, 7 people basically got handed wins because he didn't set his line up.

In the league I used to play in at my old job, if someone didn't touch their line up for more than 2 weeks and didn't have an excuse other than just not caring, we kicked them out and gave the team to someone else so it was fair for everyone to play a team with all active players.

Had he kept his IR guys in this week, it wouldn't have been fair, either. With the 7 easy wins people got, he had 7 unfair loses because his team was not set.

It goes both ways, lol.

I know I am a broken record, but I just dislike unfair shit. He lost fairly to me because his line up was set, that is not what I am complaining about. It's the 7 easy wins people were given and the 7 unfair loses he got because he didn't care to participate with us. His ass should have been kicked out a while ago and have someone who wants to play with us take over. The regular season is half over and this dude decides he wants to stop wasting our time now.


That one win from him could be an entry in to the playoffs for some people. A free pass to the playoffs, man. You will complain when you are out of the playoffs and people with a free win are in ;P

I'm getting trolled by the NFL website.

I had a RB (Howling) playing today against the 49ers; not really expecting much from him. I check in and he only gets me 3.80 pts so far. I scroll up and I see the "Official 2013 Pro Bowl Ballot" and they scroll down a list of names and Howling is in the list :???:

We all know the closest that dude is gonna be to the Pro Bowl is near the tv like us....

Also, LC, I don't see how that guru gives you ideas; every time I ask it for advice, it just tells me to trade for an injured player, or to add one lol. I keep bringing it up b/c I find it funny how bad it is.

I could write an equally long paragraph full of statistical analysis refuting your claims that anyone's wins over Vegas were easy, but since I already tried a little of that a few posts ago and you totally ignored it, I don't see the point. Lately the guru has been getting worse. As far as the Pro Bowl goes, they always put every team's starters on the ballot. They leave it up to the voters to have a brain.

Just to be clear, the tiebreakers between you guys for 2nd in the division mean nothing if none of you has a good enough record. The three wild-card slots go to the top three next-best teams, not the three 2nd place teams. If the playoffs started today, all three of you would lose out on the last playoff spot as you guys are 3-5 and Spine Ripper, though he is third in his division, is 4-4 and would get the spot.
