Mortal Fantasy Football Kombat 2012

The Fantasy Guru tab isn't the smartest in the world is it.....

It's telling me to trade/add players that make no sense

I like it for suggesting things I didn't think of. You do kind of have to know when it's making dumbass suggestions.

Platypunishment is trying to trade me the arrested guy for Vernon Davis. Almost all my RBs are hurt... and I will probably be playing some bums for a couple weeks... but I'd rather keep Davis and just wait out these injuries.

Why the hell are you even watching me?

Just watch your own team and don't worry about what I am doing.

I didn't know who I wanted to pick up yet so I dropped a guy and picked one up like 2 minutes later.

Can't believe this is big news to you that has taken up multiple posts.

Save that fire for our matchup this week Jade

You're projected to beat me...

I swear if the Ravens don't use Rice this week against NE, I gonna be so salty...

You can borrow LC's salt.

Lol @ "the arrested guy". He must really want to get rid of Turner...

Not necessarily. So many of you have RB issues, he probably thinks he can get something awesome in exchange for him.

I'm watching everybody. How am I supposed to write news stories for the league if I don't? Not to mention the usefulness of knowing each other's tendencies vis-a-vis trade possibilities. Besides, it wouldn't have taken up multiple posts were it not for me having to answer mkray's rules question.

Now that I think about it, my receivers costing me my game against Miss Titties was a blessing in disguise, otherwise I wouldn't have shot to the top of the waiver order and gotten my hands on Andre Brown, who's already giving me an early lead over that dude on TRMK who's named after a bad-ass guitar amp.

And I'm regretting not re-adding NYG DEF...Oh well, too late now.

I sure wish I would have gotten more points from the players I had in tonight's game. I'll be shocked if I win this week.

Wow I'm down by 25 already

I really hate all these thursday games....

Thursday Night games really force you to monitor your roster early, especially if you have players on your roster playing that night who are listed on the injury report. I just noticed that The Tattooed Coffee Profs just left Hakeem Nicks on the flex spot, even though he was officially ruled Out 2 days ago.

Also, I've heard from NFL Network fantasy analysts that starting Thursday players is a risky proposition (particularly that player is glued either on your roster or on your bench for the next 4 days and there's nothing you can do about it).

Gotta hand it to you Mr. Trash... that was one hell of a waiver claim.

I wasn't sure how long Bradshaw was going to be out, only that he wouldn't be playing this week due to the short week. And that waiver claim would not have gone through if my receivers hadn't played like total shit last week.

EDIT (9/23): I have a funny feeling I'll end up with the Hunger Foul this week...

Dammit! Looks like leaving 30+ points on my bench may come back to bite me in the ass if I lose this one! I'm in a tight one with Marshall thanks to Jamaal Charles' 91-yard TD run!

And NFL.com's "Start 'em, Sit 'em" section should be sued for flagrant false advertising! This is the SECOND time in consecutive weeks I have gotten jipped by that section! Eff you, Michael Fabiano!

Just my luck

my team loses and I'm the 2nd highest scoring team in our league going up against the person who has the most points....

Your fantasy match-up against me could have been much worse, especially if I had ignored Michael Fabiano's Start-em, Sit-em at QB. Not only did I leave Jake Locker's 24.62 points on the bench (along with Lance Moore's 13 points), the QB I had starting left the game with an ankle injury. You still have a shot within the next 2 and a half hours. You do realize how close I am to the dreaded Hunger Foul...

EDIT: EFF YOU, TRMK! Can't you see that my message is MUCH more than 18 characters?! Looks like this Message Board should get the Hunger Foul instead of me for telling me "my message is too short" when I tried to post EVERYTHING above this edit via Quick Reply!

Our Week 3 match-up is mathematically over!

One hell of a shoot-out, though, I have to say. It was my own fault it turned out that way, but I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty.
