Sonya Bland I've said before that I also don't like the excessive (in my opinion) presence of Earthrealmers and Special Forces, let alone that so many new characters are younger relatives instead of actually "new blood". And there are more people who feel that way.
You don't see people chasing me and others out of threads because we say it once or twice when it's being discussed and post normally about other stuff.
You don't, you just complain, on every thread, on multiple posts, speak of nothing else. Of course nobody wants to read that anymore. If you have nothing to say except that, what's the point, we already heard it so many times... Imagine if everyone was like that about stuff we don't like, we couldn't even have a single functional thread it would be just people screaming their pet peeves at each other.

Because they never had a chance, but in my extreme big imagination they shine more brightly than any overused chinese-guy, ice-user, militairy-blonde and iron-armed follower, because they have something I call potential, and i'm far from being the only one who thinks that way.

You called NRS lazy for making human characters.
Does D'Vorah have more polygons in her model than Sonya? Does D'Vorah take three more voice actresses to portray than Sonya? Does D'Vorah have fifty more variations than Sonya? Is each line of D'Vorah's dialogue so brilliant that it takes a hundred writers working together in the same room for five hours to come up with it? Is it easier to come up with a unique costume design for a completely one-of-a-kind character, or for a human character who must nevertheless be different from all the others, I wonder?

So much drama because of a single returning member of this forum. Should've kicked him right out instead of a temp ban.
But anyways, to be completely honest, I'd still rather that Sonya, Jax and Johnny sat this game out, BUT I will not whine or complain over them being added to the roster. They're in and there's nothing we can do about it... and I'm still going to enjoy the game despite their inclusion, I'm sure.
The game looks beautiful and awesome! Even with the imperfect roster (imo), it still looks fun and interesting, and I really look forward to it. ^^

What is it with all these personal attacks?
Anyway, I call them lazy for not getting energy into characters that never had much chance to shine, going the children-of-overused-characters route and adding those same overused characters with them in the same roster (no I don't care if one shoots pink energy and the other fires a gun)...
If this game would mean that Sonya, Jax, and all those others RETIRE after this game I would have been fine, but my future-vision never fails and yes, i've seen Sonya, Jax and Kenshi in MK11, so this whole descendant thing is useless anyway.

As much as I disliked the Cage family in the beginning, this trailer actually topped the story trailer for me, LOL.
I really like the way Sonya's move set is looking. She went from the least interesting of the bunch to the most interesting to me. Don't even get me started on Shinnok... lordjesusgivemegameplay

Shinnok looks sick. I love his design so much. His scene with Raiden in the story trailer looked fantastic, and now his fight vs Johnny and Sonya was just bonkers cool. Never thought I'd be excited for Shinnok, but there you frickin go.

There is a difference between characters like Baraka, D'vorah, Mileena, Reptile, Ermac, Goro and Kitana, Kung Lao, Raiden, AND Sonya, Cassie and Liu Kang.
Group one is monsters, group two is humans with special features that put them appart from group three which are humans in the purest sense of the word, just humans from the army/police.
