MK9-PS3 v.s MK9-XBOX

The main difference to me is the framerate. The PS3 slows down a lot during Xrays, like when Sub-Zero crushes the organ you hear the crunch before a lot. The 360 is a perfect 60fps no matter what happens.

this. i actually played it on ps3 yesterday, and OMG the xrays! after playing on xbox for so long, they seemed soooo slow on the ps3

I prefer my xbl avatar, I mean I've had the thing for years now and this is the first time it's actually in one of the games I own.
I didn't know PS3 had framerate issues. I feel sorry for you guys, not in a sarcastic way. I mean Fable has always had fr drop issues and it bugs the shit out of me.

I don't stare at my XBL avatar during KOTH if other people are gonna look around see something that represents me, I'd rather it be that little avatar fella I've been toting around with me since I first starting playing 360.

I've got a relatively smooth online experience, I don't care about Kratos either way, don't mind the lack of a 360-exclusive character (I prefer actual MK fighters), and the free character coming with the Season Pass is pretty cool. I don't live and die by the superiority of one copy or another, but I'm quite satisfied with my 360-copy of Mortal Kombat 9.

PS3.
Kratos, and a D-Pad that actually doesn't suck.
I play MK9 at my friend's house sometimes (he has the XBOX360 version)
And I just can't pull off some special moves and combos as smoothly as I can with my PS3 controller.
It's probably just because it's what I'm use to, but it seems like the 360's D-Pad just isn't that responsive.
But besides that controller & the GOW stuff, it's the same damn thing for each console.

^^This. Except for a few things.

Frame rate slows down during X-Rays, especially when doing an X-Ray on Kitana in her primary costume. (PS3)

Some parts of Story Mode runs at 60FPS. (360)

Season Pass. (360)

Quicker Loading Times. (PS3)

I'm very happy with my game for the 360. Besides, I prefer to use actual MK fighters than seeing a bonus character. Plus once I get the season pass, I get the free 4th character, I'm loving it.

I sold my ps3 so I got MK for xbox and I can't use the controller for my life to pull off moves! The joystick feels amazing except when I need to dash or pull off FF or BB moves, that's the only thing that ruins my game so bad.

I switch to the dpad for dashing and doing those moves. Works for me.

PS3
-Kratos
-Easier control scheme
-laggy online

XBOX
-less laggy online
-Season Pass
-Harder control scheme

Both
-Spammers D:

They're really isn't a "better choice", it's all based on your perspective of the stuff. The one thing I'm sure A LOT of us will agree on is the spammers ruining the fun outa the online mode. :(

Patience is the key to spamming actually, and I learned that the hard way, lol. If somebody is spamming extra fast then you just gotta be looking for patterns and wait till you can actually attack without being hit. For example, Sindel spammers will probably give people some hard times but I find them to be somewhat easy now that i'm actually paying attention to what they're either doing or trying to do.

Yeah but the thing is if you're facing a spammer a spammer is still a spammer, making the match not fun at all even if you win or lose
