MK9 Pre-order Discussion (who's pre-ordered/which version/which retailer)

I've pre-ordered the standard edition from Amazon. I can do without the extras of the KE or TE, and so can my wallet right now. I believe Amazon tends to ship via UPS and they have a great track record where I live.. Ironically we have a FedEX shipping facility here yet they have a much worse record for on time delivery. I'm fairly confident in the release-date arrival since my previous orders have all arrived on time without fail.

I'm also rather partial to the Klassic Reptile skin. I completely understand the allure of the Klassic Scorpion and Sub-Zero skins not to mention the Klassic fatalities you'll have early access to(TOASTY!) but Reptile has always seemed a unique sort of character in my eyes ever since his first playable appearance in MK2 and that ridiculous method of a accessing battle against him in MK1. Besides, I'm not so much a fan of the default look they've given Reptile in MK9 and I welcome seeing him back in humanesque form. In addition, Reptile was the first character I ever selected my first time playing an MK game. *Clears throat* I was 9 years old when I first saw MK2 at the Two-Bit Bandit arcade.. long story short I got my ass handed to me by a teenager playing as Kitana at the Tomb Stage. He ended my sad attempt with Kitana's fan decaptitation as my mouth dropped to the floor and my mother, who was quite appalled, pulled me away from the machine. Such sweet memories.
 
I've preordered today at Gamestop shop. In Germany you can preorder only the standard version PEGI-18 because it's uncertain that there will be a german release.
But I don't know if I get the Scorpion klassic skin and fatality. I think Gamestop is international, isn't it? So I hope I get the Scorpion extras. What do you think?
 
I preordered the Tournament Edition from gamestop, I decided I wont be getting the guide cuz i'm used to progressively learning fatalities and secrets in mk naturally.
 
i will pre-order the standard version because in europe you just have the choice between the standard (including scorpions toasty fatality and classic outfit) or the premium (including ermacs classic outfit)... the premium is too expensive...

eurpean MK fans have to wait till April 21th... damn !
 
I pre-ordered the standard edition from Amazon on the 23rd (Lucky it was only $56 or lower then, now its back to full price) and I pre-ordered the Kollector's edition guide.
 
Preordered the Standard Edition from Gamestop. Need that Toasty.

The KE and TE are just a hair out of my price range at the moment. I would've liked the arcade stick, but I can do without it.
 
I would've gotten the TE over the KE if I was sure that the stick wouldn't become a deadly weapon...
Plus that's a pretty easy target for pit bulls to chew...

Getting the Scorpion pre-order bonuses and the KE Guide...
 
Just pre-ordered the standard edition ps3 game and the KE guide from play.co.uk.

They better deliver on time...
 
I got a KE from Gamestop, a TE from Best Buy, and a TE from Amazon. I got the 2nd one from Amazon, just in case Best Buy screws up my pre-order, and also so my wife can have a joystick too.
 
I have finished paying for my Mortal Kombat Kollector's Edition and Mortal Kombat Collector's Edition Strategy Guide at GameStop, thank God for the Midnight release:) I'll be playing the game within the first hour of it's release:)

I would only use a guide for Mortal Kombat, I want to know all the fatalities from the start and it wouldn't hurt to learn how NRS thinks X-ray moves should be placed in a combo.
 
Is anybody buying it for Xbox360? I would hate to renew by Gold Membership and have nobody to play. Personally I would prefer playing it on PS3, but my bro took it with him to school :(
