MK9 is so HARD to play now after I started playing MK:AK

Anyone else in the same boat as me on this one? I was PROOOOOOOOOO at MK9 (playing 4 months str8 everyday)... but then when MK:AK came out, I completely stopped playing MK9 (I'm old school like that, hahaha!) Anywaysssssssss, I put in MK9 for the first time last night (after over a month of not touching it even once!) and I got my ass handed to me EVERYSINGLE MATCH!... Wtf is this? lol...

bahaha, I better start practicing again!
 
Lol. You Just on your offDay(Or Offweek o.o or Month O_O) just keep playing you will get it back trust me :)
 
Happened to me with SFIV.

I was pretty good at that game, but when I got the button mash friendly MvC3, my skill level in SF & MvC2 went down the shitter.
 
Same exact thing happened to me bro.
Played Arcade Kollection for DAYS and then tried MK9 and I felt like a noob.
I looked like such a tool with MK9 sektor :laugh:

Stay here and read some character threads. You will beat story mode on Expert and Ladder mode on Expert with Liu Kang. :)

Might as well play it online and get used to it again. Everybody has their off days. Sometimes I know I just need to warm up online, and make sure I'm not tired as hell, or else I will not pay attention and just do what I usually do against the computer to win, which people will catch onto and kick your ass because we learn, and computers don't. Which I forget. Often. Glad those updates finally came through though. Can't wait for the MK:AK patches. I have a harder time finding people there than I do MK9.
 
Yeh everyone gets their time of the month for sucking at video games, Call of Duty usually does that to me too so don't feel bad. It's usually because I'm going too fast cuz I think I'm the shit and not focusing on playing smart, always something to keep in mind :)

OMG you must be high? MKAK SUCKS compared to MK9. I downloaded the collection 2 days ago and played all three games for like 20 min and now I know why gaming technology improved lol. MK1,2,3 were good when they first came out years ago but sheesh the graphics, gameplay, sound FX everything is so crappy compared to MK9. You must be nuts lol.

He's not nuts, you sir are insane/high/pcp'ed.

MKAK sucks right now because you cant play online unless you wanna remove 30 points from your IQ and 50% reaction time, other then that these are the best that made the series.

You must be slow.

And you dont need MKAK to play true "arcade perfect" versions of these games anyways (term arcade perfect is a joke anyways)

You just said new was better before that lol. Either way, i was just going hard because these games are where it started and they'll never get old to me (and a million other diehard fans). As far as these "arcade perfect" releases, i could honestly give two shits less about it. I prefer the console versions simply because theres more options and characters. Give me a port of trilogy that doesnt have the PS1 load times and ill be set.

Plus MK9 is over all ready, no more DLC, no more hype. Face it, we're back in the waiting time until the next game, might as well play 1, 2 n 3 again.
 
Lol try going back to a totally different fighter.

Went back to DoA 4 and since there are only 2 attack buttons instead of 4... lets just say I got owned lol

ahahahaha! I totally agree with you on the MK9 factor bro! But as for the "Give me a port of trilogy that doesnt have the PS1 load times and ill be set" statement you made.... I would have to say the PC version of MKT is what you are looking for! If you would like me to upload the install file (on MediaFire) for you to have the PC version of MKT, WITH install instructions + CD KEY, I would be more then happy to let you have it (PM me bro)! And yes, IT has the exact same characters as the PSX version.. with Classic MK1 Raiden, Kano, Classic MK2 Jax, Kung Lao, etc... Plus bosses and their fatalities!!!)

I don't play MK AK very often, I rather play MK 1 & 2 on my PSP (Midway Arcade Treasures). It's normal to lose your touch, cause the gameplay is completely different.
