Jade should be the new protagonist with her resurrected body!!!
She's not Box Office enough to be a main hero.Jade should be the new protagonist with her resurrected body!!!
This is why the protagonist role should be given to proven veterans like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden instead of rookies.

Killing Quan Chi made him good.Scorpion isn't 'good', he's 'neutral'. If he was 'good' he would've listened to Sonya about freeing the other revenants.

^ What is the MK rule book says the protagonist must be Scorpion, Sub Zero, or Raiden? The hero can be whoever Ed Boon chooses to be. Just to make the MK fans butt hurt. I pray majority of the MK universe favorite fighters return, but with Cassie and friends still the main leads. Imagine MK11 with Smoke, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Noob Saibot, Reiko, Havik, and other fan favorites. Yet Cassie, Jacqui, Takeda, and Kung Jin are still running the show
Then why was she given the Hsu Hao Treatment in MKX?Already better than Sub Zero or Hanzo

Quan Chi faked weakness to lure Earthrealm's heroes into letting their guard down (I believe Shinnok even suggested as such after he was freed). How do you expect me to believe he had any intention of freeing the Revenants? He could've killed the heroes instead and turned THEM into Revenants (which was well within Quan Chi's character anyway), especially since he knew D'Vorah was on her way with the Amulet. The only reason Jax, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion were freed is because Sonya beat the living shit out of Quan Chi in their presence, and was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.Yes but he killed Quan Chi prematurely. They could've used Quan Chi to revive the revenants then kill him or at least try. Scorpion only cares about his family and clan, he clings to the past as Nightwolf said to him in MK9.
Rookies are supposed to be carrying the luggage of the stars at the airport, sing their college fight song in front of the rest of the roster, and get ice-cold Gatorade dunked on them while duct-taped to a post...they have to EARN the top spot over time. They shouldn't be ordained the Hero right out of the gate.I still think they messed up by have the young'ns (cassie) be the heroine ok MKX. i think that is a role that should slowly happen over time not in your first game. but whatever...just my opinion.
I still don't think in the next installment they should be the new hero...they should have a bigger role but not be the heroes.
If you want the highest sales potential, you're supposed to place the proven fan favorites at the forefront. I thought that was common sense. Even Kenshi (who debuted 3 games after Jade did) is more Box Office than Jade, and you wish I was BSing on that. I would place even HIM in the same tier as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden.

Jade misses ONE MK game post new timeline and she's getting the "Hsu Hao treatment?" I personally just don't care for Scorpion all that much (with the exception of his Kold War costume. That costume is AWESOME). Kuai Liang is cool, but not even he's all that. I just personally can't stand the hard on everyone seems to get for Scorpion and Sub Zero. I truly blame Ed Boon for that. People love talking about as if Scorpion or Sub Zero are the second coming to MK. As popular as both the ninjas are. Neither one of them can hold the MK title on their own. Characters like Kitana, Sonya, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, Jax, and many others also carry the MK Franchise. Let Ed and Netherealm studio ever pull a Street Fighter 3 move. Only bringing back Scorpion and Sub Zero and everyone else are completely new character. That MK game will flop harder than Rita Ora's singing career
Hsu Hao got a better treatment, at least he was in the comics.Jade wasn't even in the game as an NPC Revenant while Stryker (one of the least popular MK characters of all time) was. If that's not "Hsu Hao Treatment" to you, then I don't know what is.

But he doesn't have the Star Power of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden. Protagonists need to be Box Office characters.
The whole Special Forces ruined this game. SF has always been the most irrelevant, incompetent faction in the series of Mortal Kombat. Why in the hell would they make them the focal point of this game? Give them so many roster spots to plain humans in a game about gods and monsters. I absolutely love Jacqui Briggs, but I would trade the whole Special Forces team for just Baraka.
No, they don't.
Cassie Cage proved that statement wrong in MKX by defeating Shinnok -the main villain- in story mode.
