MK vs DC - Sub-Zero Finisher

Our friend Sub uses his mad ninja skills to stealthily tie a string around Mr. Grundy's pants, then dumps in a tray of ice, finishing him off all while the Zombie Menace is distracted, Frankensteinesque by a beautiful butterfly.

Idea came from LinKueiAssassin of The Pit.
 
Hmm...sorry man but this is the only one so far that I don't like. And boy do I REALLY not like it. Grundy's face looks not like Grundy (plus he doesn't seem to be reacting to the ice at all), the icy haze is sort of disconcerting and marrs the image, I can't really tell his pants are pulled open, and worst of all I don't find it funny. Too bad really since the artwork on Sub-Zero is REALLY well done. Looks exactly like the render. I like the concept, it's perfect for Sub-Zero's whacky finisher, but it's just not doing anything for me. Ah well, 3 out of 4's not bad right?
 
Well I like it. Just considering the shrinkage that would be involved, that's brutal enough.
 
I'll take a 3/4 any day, batting .750 is great :)

I do agree about the pants, I tried a few things but couldn't get them to looked "pulled out" so just went with what I had.

As for Grundy not looking himself, I blame that on multiple incarnations of him, and multiple looks over the years. Some are more refined and better dressed, others are more decayed and brutish, while others are rather thin and more terrifying to the eye. I just chose this one to portray because I liked it best, aside from his look here. The latter just wasn't "zombie" enough for me.

And the ice hasn't hit that most sensitive part yet, it's just starting to fall :P

Sub took a lot of time, so I am glad he came out good.
 
Well when fabrics are pulled they go into a point, whereas the trousers here are still rounded. that's probably it. Sub does look excellent. That's some mighty fine Sub-Zero side-boob going on there too.
 
at that wiki link it says he is immune to hot and cold so he would'nt react like you say he should anyway glamster
