It has to do with Reptile being seperated from his true race for such a long time. Don't ask me why it is, but that's the story I was told was official.

In real life? He's a fictional character. At any rate, as far as I know, he was killed off by Kahn's extermination squad and was resurrected when the merger of the realms kept his soul from crossing over or some crap like that. In the movies Kahn killed him while trying to take over earth because he sucked and deserved to die. I don't know any more than that because I hate Johnny Cage.

Name at least 6 of the original home versions of MK1 (in other words, you can't include the version on the MKD bonus disc or any versions that appeared on compilations).

I think it was over royalties or something. I believe something similar happened with Katalin Zamiar (the woman who played Kitana and Mileena). I'm pretty sure it was just greed in either case, though.
