Kung lao looks amazing in that posing shot wow. They did an incredible job with his outfit.

Kung Lao does look good. His uniform actually looks legit. Why can't they do the ninjas just as good instead of the cheap pieces of plastic like subzero's mask.

Kung Lao seems to be a real Shaolin-Monk (no hair, orange dress, ...)

Seems like they are trying to base their costumes on the MK3 and on ninja looks.... And failing terribly. The guy who dresses up as Scorpion in those Mortal Kombat dance videos has a better costume, for crying out loud.

They should have kept Sub Zero's outfit simple. Throw the black and blue Lin Kuei outfit on him (as seen in the beginning of the trailer) and give him a cloth mask. Done. Easy. No need for a last minute trip to Wal*Mart to pick up spray paint and cheap paint ball gear.


As for Kung Lao, he looks great. Only thing I find odd about his costume is the hat.

Exactly! And with Kung Lao, it's cause its a straw hat. Just looks kinda odd and not throwable. Maybe when we see it in action, it'll be better.

That's if he even throws his hat in this. I mean, can you imagine him throwing a straw hat at someone? It'll bounce off their head and MAYBE... just maybe... piss them off.

Lmao this is great. They did confirm there is a blade hidden underneath. The fact that it is straw still seems an odd choice though being that it is so light looking.

A new trailer had been revealed a few days ago as part of an exclusive interview perhaps, pretty hype.

So any new posts from Kevin or anything at all on twitter? It's supposed to be coming out within the next two months if it's Q2 of this year. I want an update damn it!

Well Brian Tee just revealed in an interview with Nerdreactor that MKL2 should be debuting this month.
