Let's talk Rain

personally i liked his Armageddon attire, it went with the whole he's royalty and a half god theme. I'm not saying there's no room for improvement, but i understand what they were trying to do. This is a new day and age, everybody is not going to look like a palette swap ninja, they need new designs for these former palette swaps. Rain's wasn't that bad, I even found it interesting, he had a royal prince of persia look or something lol. I don't understand the hate. I mean can you guys suggest some of your ideas for his look?
 
Meh, I prefer the purple pallette swap look than the royal look. His royal look kinda reminded me of Mileena's outfit from Deception.
 
Not a big Rain fan. I think he was an unneccesary character. Now he has started to get his own persona and all lately but, I still feel he is better left out. Sheeva has much more potential to me. She is unique for these reasons: the only four armed female, had one of the coolest projecties, she is the only other representative(non boss) besides goro that could bring the Shokan race into the story more, and she is the only female besides Mileena that Kahn recognizes for her savagry(hand picked by the Emperor).

I'd love her to be vying for Kahn's favor and have a rivalry with Mileena. Or she could be a protege of Goro's. That would be nice! In the end I would love her in the game in any form.
 
Well I loved Rain in MKT. I whooped with him. The thing is, they could flesh him out a bit. I liked his MKA design, the Purple Prince! His alternate ninja look was cool too. I really like how he betrayed Edenia, he already had a good storyline.
 
if he is in cool if he isn't cool also. At this point I'm so excited for this game I wouldn't miss him. DLC or on the starting roster.

If Rain is to be back in this game, he definitely should be in ninja form as others have said. The Armageddon costume was a dumb idea. Bring him back as ninja form, flesh his story out a bit, and give him creative new moves and I'll be happy.
 
The more characters we get, the better. I personally have never used Rain, but I would love for him to be included in the game... You never know, it might become one of my mains right? =]
 
I dont hate Rain, but if there had to be one original character left out of MK9, it was gonna be him...but I expect him to show up before too long as DLC. I definitely want to see what NRS does with him.
 
Dont be suprised if rain is DLC, and has an alternate costume thats a brownish palette swap with glasses and an unfittingly deep voice
 
I've been crying myself to sleep every night since Rain has been deconfirmed. Any suggestions?

I really like Rain from MK Trilogy in Armageddon was a big mistake. I found in one interview with Ed Boon he said that Rain gonna be a DLC (i can be wrong so forgive for mine mistake) I would love to see his klassic costume :D:D

Looks cool just loose those funny looking diamonds across his chest & those red and white patterns from his vest, maybe make his pants black also.
