Well as the continued to build for mkx I can recall being on of the guys who said "I wanted breast physics in the game" which as you can all see now..there are ZERO breast physics and most of the male characters are body builders..you all cried for realism so they scaled the sexiness down to ZERO because you well ...certain types of men said

"If I wanted to see big tits and slutty women I'd go to a bar.Keep that out of my video games"

So again..by that logic you take your video game females mores seriously than real life ones.

First I choked, when I saw girl herself. Oh boy... wait isn't she the one which says "Feel free to fap!"? and makes... ahmm those "Losing my Virginity" series? Sigh... well ok I will be fair. Let's not judge by appearance and sex sells tactics. Just let's see what she has to say...

Because you sound like there is a lack of such things in games. MMORPG? Check. FPS games? Check. Sim dates? Obviously check. Fighting games? Check. You have TONS of options. You want "big tits" and "bouncing" in fighting games? Here MK9. You want even more of that? Here Dead or Alive series. Hell they have an option, where you can set the strength of bouncing.
But what about the people who would like to have properly clothed characters? And it is isn't the matter of being afraid of nudity or not. It just breaks the character for those people. Especially if the game is story driven.
I couldn't take seriously half of MK9 story, because I saw females with high heels doing backflips, running, hell SLIDING attacks (Jade green kick). Or when I saw my favorite female character Sonya being reduced to a stripper. And when she said "Special Forces"... that pain (Military fanboy reporting)
So in short. You have gabazillion of your games with half naked girls. But there are barely any games who don't use that stupid "sex sales" tactic. MKX is a breeze of fresh air.
And what says a girl who uses her cleavage to attract more viewers, doesn't really matter to me. She can always play MK9, if she wants "big tits" on screen. I prefer having my fighters (both males and females) dressed for a fight. Not a goddamn club.
Even so I wouldn't mind if there was a topless tribal female fighter. If her remaining clothes looked like tribal warrior's outfit and she has some tribal tattoo. No problem. But sexy? GTFO.
But, hey! Don't worry I bet they will make MKXI with sexy females, but until then, I and other people (who think alike) will enjoy a fighting game with characters who look like they came to fight.

Dating sims? That's a niche genre as they come. Games where characters wear "proper clothing" is hardly rare and precious as you are making it out to be, in fact some of them enjoy mainstream success. Honestly, trying to push to any extreme just to accommodate personal taste is selfish.

The girl in that video is the kind of girl who streams on twitch and has the camera pointed down her shirt. Then she rattles off HEHE IM SUCH A GAMER GURL IM SUCH A NEWB!!! and lonely virgins basically give her free money. Honestly if I were a girl with huge tits, id probably do the same thing. tried to watch the video, couldn't, the girl in the video obviously has personal body issues (caked on makeup and massive cleavage always in view). She doesn't seem like a reliable source

These characters are incredibly sexy.the size of boobs don't determine how sexy a girl is, talking in the physical sense, it usually comes down to how the body forms I mean look at these women. If they seriously aren't considered beautiful in the context of our society then I feel really sorry for everyones high standards.

The designs in this are so much better and add more personality to them. Kitana is a major one for me. I never gave her a second looking MK9 but now she looks like a warrior princess who kicks ass and actually has some depth based on her costume.

The "Sexines really did deter for me in MK9. Look at the ninjas, some of them aren't even ninjas anymore, they've moved on to become their own characters with specific designs. In mk9 the ladies all felt like pallet swaps in different colored thongs.

EDIT: also im a straight male. but what makes you think that only straight men should have a say? Shouldn't the women have a say in how the women look?

I didn't say it is super rare Overall. But it is super rare then it comes to fighting games.

Asking for ONE fighting game not to go for "sex sells", is hardly extreme. And hell we got it. I am happy. I don't need anything else (well PC version is broken, but anyway). I got serious MK game on my hands.(Hell I got to see the REAL Sonya Blade as Special Forces operative) I am happy. And when I see girls like that screaming about feminists or how studios are doing this for money (which is absurd, as studio actually loses the money of horny teenagers) I just facepalm myself, because it sounds that fighting games are dominated by censor and all games cover all females and people who want to have sexy characters are starving. I am really surprised she had the balls to even whine about that. It's not like there is a lack of fighting games with what she desires.

You seen nothing. They have 3 options actually. Realistic, DOA (whatever it means) and OMG (true name should WTF as that was my only thought upon seeing the results) While fighting is pretty decent, that game was basically created for lonely people. And what's scary is that MK was just few steps away from becoming the same garb.. kind of game.

I will just say this again. While I try to respect every opinion, I find it hard to accept criticism on this subject. As it sounds the same as if a rich person would start crying about a million bucks he didn't get, which made his situation tragic, as now he has 299 million instead of 300 million.

Cassie alone has some big boobies, so don't see why you act like everyone in the game is flat-chested.

I like how they toned it down, but the attractiveness is still there, especially since the women don't have horrible faces this time around.

To be fair it's only a couple of guys, most of us here aren't like that (I would hope lol).
 
I made a reply to her video in the comments section, but I'll touch on what I said in here.

Her argument is extremely inconsistent and poorly thought out, considering how well-spoken she tried to sound. The characters in Mortal Kombat undergo changes every game, whether they be big or small. Human Reptile in MK3, and then becoming lizard Reptile in MK4? Sub-Zero going from masked to unmasked from game-to-game. Jax getting mechanical arms? Sonya going from early 90's spandex gear to military garbs. Ermac going from ninja to sorcerer. Kano's entire back-story was also retconned after the release of the MK movie because the developers liked Trevor Goddard's take on the character so much. I could keep going on... This has been a very regular thing with the Mortal Kombat games since the beginning, so her statement about this "upsetting" the hardcore fans is bullshit, especially considering that one of the things the MK Kommunity looks forward to every release is the character redesigns.

The fact that the OP practically called anyone who disagreed with him "gay" by asking straight men to comment on the subject (then backtracking saying he was only talking about breast physics) just makes this whole thing kind of pathetic. This topic really needs to just be closed because it's clear there's really nothing else that can be said. You either find the character designs sexy or you don't. It's merely a matter of opinion and there are better ways of discussing this without using a poorly spoken YouTube video as bait to shoot down people's opinions.
