First of all I am a hardcore fan buddy I have played all the MK's when they originally were released. I see you couldn't have simply because your age so I am "Hardcore". Secondly, I don't see how this will affect the reboot of the game itself, especially if they make him like an incredibly hard to get unlockable or even jus a DLC. I still haven't got one respectable reason of how this will affect the overall game.
Actually bro, i have played ALL of the MK's for EVERY SYSTEM, not emulators, the real thing, and the arcade. And if you want to see my reasoning why, check my post before this one, i believe its on page 6 or 7, i dont want to waste my time explaining this again when people who are critical of us who dont want him in, simply ignore my reasoning.
Hmm I'm an old fan and I'm rejoicing still. Why would you let someone else who wants to buy it for Kratos screw with your purchase? It's still a fan service at the end of the day even if Kratos is in. It's like saying a portrait is ruined by signing your name on the back of it. It's not what draws others to it that should be on your mind, it's what draws you most to it. Everyone has an opinion of whats right and wrong, but don't let something small destroy the big picture for you.
Okay and what drew me most to this game was the fact that it was a reboot/retelling of the first three games, and that they hyped it up by saying it would go back to the glory days, and judging by what was revealed so far, i bought that idea. But then that whole fan service goes OUT THE WINDOW if they promote the game by using another character from another franchise as bonus, which they would undoubtedly do. People like me, intense fans of MK who missed the glory days would obviously get pissed off if they are gonna do this to a game with that intent, because the general gaming audience are not going to realize that this game was for the fans, and for getting more people to follow straight Mortal Kombat.
