All that I'm saying is that NetherRealm should consider the fans that don't want him in.
ATLEAST give us the option to NOT HAVE him (or HAVE him) VIA DLC.
Thank you!!

A lot of whining and *****ing for a character... for no particular reason.
I'm ALL FOR IT.
THANK YOU NR. IT WAS A GREAT IDEA:hail:
So it's okay to praise his inclusion but not complain about it? Get lost.
I hate fan boys that use such moronic logic. That's like with the Mileena thread I made. People had a major stick up their asses because I hated her golden design *rolls eyes*.
I can't believe Kratos was confirmed. Wtf were these people thinking?
He doesn't take up any other character's space, and extra characters are only worked on once the main character roster is finalized (all 26).
I can live with Kratos as DLC but I don't think that I'll buy him!

An inclusion of a character is always a benefit because there's more choice. More choices are always better, even if some of the choices suck. It's like hating a channel on your TV cable network. If your cable service added another Home Shopping Channel, do you rage on the whole service, even though nothing else has changed for any other channels? No, you just don't go to that channel if you don't like it. But the option is there for others who want it.
Were you around when the 3d MKs included extra modes like Kart Racing, Chess, Puzzle Fighter, Konquest, etc?? All of them added nothing to the main gameplay, were only somewhat fun (except for Konquest which I really liked), and were just extra development time that could have been used elsewhere because it had to be finished for the disc release of the games. But with Kratos likely not being on disc, they could take their time on him, once the main game is mainly finished, and they could even change settings and update his gameplay hit spots/hit damage on the fly at a later online update (which they want to do for all of the characters) to fix gameplay glitches or 100% combos. Plus an extra character would take much smaller development time than an extra mode that is useless.
Because its a REBOOT man, weve been saying this time and time again, if youre gonna reboot the series, then focus on rebooting it. Now since theyre involving kratos, that takes away from the original point of this game, and us hardcore fans do not like that.
So if Strawberry Shortcake was a character in this game, you'd be cool with it? Even though she has nothing to do with Mortal Kombat and doesn't belong in the game AT ALL?
What if Perez Hilton was added to the game as a playable character? Or George Bush? You can't possibly tell me you wouldn't be pissed.
Since Microsoft and Rare works hand in hand I'm hoping for a Killer Instinct character on the 360 version.
Sinder, Glacius or Spinal would be awesome. Maybe that "you've got to have some Killer Instinct" from the Nikita episode was a hint for this.
who knows, but it would surely be awesome ;}
Well put; I totally agree. If any extra character fits reasonably into the art style and (MOST IMPORTANTLY) gameplay, won't be included in the main story mode, likely won't even be on the main character screen, doesn't take away development time from other characters, and helps sell copies of the game, then, no, I don't care who else is in it.
Kratos fills ALL of my criteria. While your hilarious examples don't, and aren't even video game characters to start with. You are letting your emotions get the best of you. LOL
