Kombat Pack 2 Reveal tomorrow!

My friend Cheeto is the only guy I know who desperately wants Baraka in more than anyone I've seen on this forum. I think more than how Commander wants Fujin.

(I think it's because he's the only character my friend can beat me with)

To me, I've never really liked Baraka. I just never got the hang of him and didn't like his overall character. I just feel that they don't do anything with him and nothing ever really stuck out for me to like.

And it won't be suprise either, he is quite popular with casuals and is from MK2. Never have I figured out the fans "we-hate-baraka" bandwagon thing. The guy is cool and original. This time he is not even a generic looking tarkatan. I guess fans prefer 100 boring special forces clones, because Baraka is a "generic" tarkatan. Hypocrites.

I've wanted a good playable Fujin in an MK game ever since after MK4 ( about 1998 ).
MK9 screwed me over with false hopes of Fujin being in with the audio sound bites in the hacked files, and most of the Armageddon roster (including Fujin) felt rushed and half-assed.

We hate Baraka bandwagon? :laugh:
Baraka has been nothing but a boring henchman (to me) for the last 22 years.
As for the Special Forces, yeah, I'd take fresh new characters in MKX over the generic Tarkatan who's had NO story or character development since 1995.
Opinions, though.

New DLC for 2016? LOL. After a mess of a PC version and the atrocious cancel of last gen MKX badly needed something to keep the hype alive. Okay, ESL Season 2 is coming but good luck for dedicate the whole game for the pros from now on. This clearly shows that NRS don't care about the fans and they're milking the cow instead as long as they can.

I was waiting for this game like a lunatic but I'm starting to lose interest. The first DLC pack was better than I expected it to be and I was hyped for today but this 2016 bull$**t is like a cold shower. My enthusiasm is gone. I was planning to invest into a PS4 for a Komplete Edition or an Ultimate MKX around Xmas but it's possible that I'll drop the game by the time a GotY edition comes out. But if this crazy marketing could skyrocket MKX to the top of the Best Selling charts, they can get away with everything.

So did they reveal the character yet? From the teaser pic, they all look like male characters which sucks huge donkey dick.

That's because people will whine and complain that their favorites aren't in, so they try to find a solution to appease everyone, then they'll do a 180 later on when a sequel comes out and go "but why isn't MK progressing with the roster?"
You don't have to go any further than looking at the very replies on these forums, to get a sample size of what I'm talking about.
 
Phew! For a second there I thought there wouldn't be more characters coming, especially with that silhouette picture.

But seriously, what a disapointing announcement. We already knew KP2 would have MK type dlc in it. Why didn't they reveal anything?

They better not screw over the new characters and give more skins to the old characters. 1 more effing Scorpion skin will break me.

you better believe that Scorpion will receive at least 2 more outfits,:).
The demand for every MK era ninja outfit is insane. MK fans love them some classic ninjas LOL.
 
So I'm guessing two of the free costumes will be Klassic Tanya and Tremor. Wonder who else could get love. Shinnok? I think he and Goro are the only ones without klassic digs. Johnny too, forgot about him
 
Isn't Johnny's "Tournament" costume essentially his MKII / MK Trilogy costume, though?
It's the same for Raiden.
Raiden's "Tournament" costume is essentially the MK1 / MK Trilogy costume.
