Klassic costumes?

Hey everybody,

Are there any hints whatsoever that there will be alternate classic costumes for characters in MKX? Personally, I'd like the ninja classic costumes. Other classic costumes would be cool as well. Here's hoping.

Let me know your thoughts on this! :)
 
I hope not, I think it's time to move on.

It's ok to hold on classic characters but classic costumes are rather pointless.
 
I understand guys, but what's wrong with "just for fun" alternate classics? I'm sure its not extremely time consuming to put them in the game. There will always be nostalgic fans like me who would want to be able to choose a classic version of a character's costume. And again, these are ALTERNATE costumes. The main ones will be always the first choice.

Obviously they did this in MK9, but doing it again in MKX would be even better IMO.

I think we can find some middle ground here. What about new alts that are inspirated in classic costumes?

I'd like that a lot. Take the classic outfits and add some more details so they don't look like low budget cosplays.
This can be really cool if it's done with Kabal and the cyborgs (if they make it in).
 
I'm not particularly interested in seeing any more klassic skins. They were a cool one time thing but repeating the same stuff is never the way to go, especially if you're billing this as some "new generation" type of deal. If they have to have them, though, I would not mind MK4 Quan Chi.

I think one of his variations looks a lot like that.

We can also agree that MK9 Cage and Sindel main outifts were very classic.

What i would like is, if Klassic Kostumes are going to be in the game, they should be unlockables, not DLC. If you're going to have DLC it should be new and improved Kostumes! IMO!

I think that would be the best option for the nostalgic fans. An update to the classics. I don't know if NRS has thought of this, but they may have when they were brainstorming ideas for alternate costumes. Maybe this can be done with DLC? I think they might surprise us, but only time will tell.

Actually, I really like the new costumes for the classic characters. Well, most of them at least. I'm not to fond of a reptilian Reptile and an unmasked Ermac. Scorpion and Sub-Zero look fantastic though. But again, the option to return to (updated) classic costumes would be cool.

Oh yeah, definitely unlockables would be much better than DLC, due to the money factor :)
 
Classic costumes I wouldn't mind seeing:

MK film Kano, Raiden, Johnny Cage. MK2 Reptile. MK3 Sub-Zero I guess.

Classic costumes I'd mind seeing:

Everyone else. Especially MK1 Sonya. Or MK3 Sonya. Or that atrocity that was MK9 Sonya. You know what, no classic costumes for Sonya.

I am actually ok with Reptiles reptilian looks. His MKDA look was alil too far for me but between his MK4 to MK9 i think they did a great job with him. reptile to me should appear to LOOK human from a distance but up close should clearly not be which should strike fear in most opponents (victims)

*Kano is by far the most impressed with. I might be biased bc im a Kano fan but they really put alot of thought into his design and it hasn't gone unnoticed. even Kano haters have expressed their delight to his new look.

Kano hater here reporting for duty.

I've got to disagree, he has a more detailed costume this time but he still looks meh. He has basically no clothes and what's with that Hsu Hao (spellcheck please) red light in the chest?

I may be biased too since Kano is the only character I would gladly remove from the game.
 
At the moment, there is no indication of classic costumes being available. I was bummed that only the ninja characters had classic costumes in MK9, and they are the least interesting considering color is pretty much the only thing that sets them apart from one another.

As far as the Cybernetic Heart, I figured it to be a new power source, others say its a new cybernetic heart. basically they took the best thing from the WORST character; Hsu Hao and gave it to Kano.

but Kano hate all you want, he's in so yeah me!
but i have a feeling he might get X'd this time around...so yeah for all the haters lol
