Jax's Story (could something bad happen?)

I welcome the idea of a fatal accident with the Black Dragon. It would make the clans more relevant to the game again. Plus an eye for arms. (Jax is the reason Kano has the cybernetic eye in the first place)
 
Hm... Robo Jax. Interesting thought. Although, for some stupid reason, thinking about it just makes me think of P. Jack from Tekken. Which is horrible. Hopefully Jax will be cooler than that as a cyborg.

I'm praying they don't go through with this. I lost a lot of respect for Jax when he got his metal arms, I lost even more when they gave him a red beret and sunglasses. If they make him a full cyborg I don't think I'll be able to look at him again. I just really want him to have his arm wraps again :(.
 
Ok, so since we're on the topic of cyborg transformation...

What does everyone think about Noob potentially turning cyborg?
Just consider it for a moment.

Here's an extract from a bio that I found, since I probably can't explain it as well as this:
"When he died in the first Mortal Kombat tournament at the hands of Scorpion, his soul, corrupted by years of violence, descended to the Netherrealm's Fifth Plane. The evil within his soul was unleashed, stripping him of pride, compassion, and everything else "human." He wishes not only to remain in the Netherrealm, but to conquer and rule it. Though he has been seen in the service of conquerors such as Shinnok and Shao Kahn, his ultimate allegiance is to himself."

Take notice of the part about his soul being stripped of everything human. With that in mind, Noob could return to the Lin Kuei due to interest in their new developments, and volunteer himself for cyborg automation; he has nothing human to lose, but new power to gain. He does this only to pursue his own motives, not to pledge allegiance to Lin Kuei; his pledge to them is false. What he isn't told, however, is that he will be programmed to do their bidding.

In another thread, I wrote:
"I think that the story will have an eventual confrontation between the two (Sub Zero and Noob Saibot). The irony just seems too tempting not to include; the brother that Young SZ seeks to avenge, will become his own enemy."

Once Noob is automated, he may now be programmed to kill Sub Zero, and thus implement this ironic confrontation.
I'm not saying this will happen, just offering a possible scenario. Thoughts?

Although I don't see Noob becoming a cyborg. I mean what could he do? Bombs and missiles are already covered, even with Noob's shadow powers there isn't much for a new cyborg to work with.

I can actually imagine his moveset interpreted in a cyborg form, I don't see it as anything spectacular, but still unique to his character. If anyone has ideas about it, please post them.
 
I don't think it would ever happen. Bi-Han would probably know their scheme; and even if he didn't, he would want nothing to do with the Lin Kuei. I don't think the automation would work on supernatural entities... at least, when worked on by mortal comprehension.

Jax's automation I would see as more likely, being that he has been corrupted by Lin Kuei counter-technology.
 
Those arms do look like apart of the body. I think those things are on in his neck so it can be connect to the brain. But I don't think he is going to be a cybrog. I think his arms are going to be like Kano's eye(something robotic to keep him living better).

But yo, Jarvis, nice freaking post! I acutally can see that happen. Lets hope that it does tho.

Yes but remeber that this is a reboot. The YSB wants revenge on scorpion. This time that can be change man.

It's a reboot, but it's still a very unlikely plot twist. We have Noob Saibot, who has already gone through a significant transformation, and now works under the wing of Shinnok under the guise of new loyalty.
