Is faction wars broken?

If people are switching sides just to get the faction kill, then they should just change it so you have to be level 50 AND your faction has to win
 
I can't post new threads so I hope it's ok for me to ask this here, don't mean to hi-jack the thread but is anyone else finding it incredibly difficult to find a full Faction Battle game? It takes years to get a full game. People get tired of waiting and leave so that makes it harder. Why does it HAVE to be 5v5? Why not 3v3?

I have yet to get a single 3v3 or 5v5 team battle. Like you said, it takes forever to find a room and I do, there are only 2 or 3 people in it. Then they all just leave cause they are tired of waiting
 
Even when I do find a faction battle, the fight disconnects and I get a draw and so do most of the people in the teams I join get disconnected too. Im staying away from faction battle for now.
 
And by the way... The faction war is over. Did someone from lin kuei get the faction kill? I have contributed and the faction won.
I got nothing.

I think it was just that the Lin Kuei did the most damage. I dont think its the faction that got the final hit

I fimd it especially amusing that only 6% of players chose Special Forces. This must have come as a shock to NRS since half the newcomers and roughly a third of the entire cast are SF.

MK is best when its about ninjas, monsters, and wizards duking it out. Theyve really overplayed the military elements. They have their place sure... But its clearly disproportionate to their popularity.

You realize that people choose their faction in MKX before they play the story, right? Hell, before they even see the in-game roster?

Cassie and Jacqui could be the coolest characters of all time, but no new player will know this. New players will boot up the game and see "Lin Kuei = Sub-Zero" and "Special Forces = Sonya Blade." Who do you think they're going to pick?

My favorite character is Johnny Cage, and I'd pick Lin Kuei over Special Forces in a heartbeat based on how MKX presents the factions.
 
I'm in the Special Forces too!! I feel like there's only two or three people in this faction which means that we will never win a Faction War 😡😡
 
Well I hit lv 50 for SF & jumped to lin kuei, will let peeps know if I can piggy back, but my aim at the end is brotherhood of shadow
 
They should normalize the faction score based on how many players there are in each faction and in total. It just baffles me that they didn't prepare for the (extremely likely and now proven true) possibility that one faction would outweight the others in number of players.
