Is Ed Boon sure he's doing the right thing?

Liu Kang was written to win!

However, it is a matter of opinion whether or not he deserves respect/approval whatever.

Please don't compare Superman to Liu Kang, Superman doesn't always win all the time hell there are numerous of people who can not only go toe to toe with but can beat the crap out of him with little effort, also the man is far from perfect there are many times where his views are challenged and there are many times where he is in the wrong. Superman is many things but what the man is not is flat or one dimensional

(A bit off the topic)

Actually, Superman is very one dimensional. Most of the DC characters were written that way. That's how they differ from Marvel comics. Whereas DC are basically, plain, and simply morals comics, Marvel was kiddy action/entertainment. That's what the original foundation of superheroes were. One dimensional moral stories. Its not entirely a bad thing in that respect.

Now I'm sure over the 70 plus years they've done everything they can with these DC characters to humanize them more etc.

Exactly my point. They are farther from being one-dimensional now but it is the way they were written. Superman is my favorite superhero, and I myself admit he is not very dimensional!

im all up for totally new characters but im not a fan of the ones theyve introduced so far. to be honest i dont like what im seeing with the game so far as it does not look like the developers are expanding on the work they did for MK9 and have thrown all that to one side and decided to take their Injustice model and turn it into MK. cant fool me though

so i dont think theyre doing the right thing by following their injustice engine rather than following up from their MK9 engine.

injustice killed MK

Injustice engine?

MK engine?

You mean Unreal 3?

Also i dont really see the whole "not expanding on MK9" and "expanding on Injustice" thing, i mean, stage intractables yeah, those can be disabled, but i dont see it otherwise.

Number One:Injustice:Gods Among Us is not the topic/subject here,Mortal Kombat X is the topic/subject here in this forum, this is a forum is about Mortal Kombat X,not about Injustice,so so sorry.

Relax, Hitler. No one is discussing Injustice, they're just saying that the new MK bears many similarities to Injustice, and are drawing relations between the two.

Read carefully.

Winners are entitled to respect, whether you like them or not.

Says the same guy who was talking shit when the Heat won in 2013 vs The Spurs???
Ok, sure.
You should take your own advice.
Even when my teams lose, I'm man enough to respect the winning team for what they've done.

Also, if people are going to get technical, throwable stage interactions were FIRST in MK4 (throwable boulders and skulls lying on the floor).
So, Injustice borrowed from MK4.

If anything MK X's throwable interactibles remind me more of the MK4 gameplay mechanic.

I get a little twitch in my eye every time someone says interactible objects are new to MK.

Not just that, MKDA had acid being spilled on opponents, MKD/MKA had weapons to pick up in some stages, MK Vs DC had free-falling and Test your Might with the use of environment.

Dont forget that certain MK:DA, MK:D, and MK:A stages had breakable set pieces.

wrong the first interctive stages, has started in mk3, cause you could send to the p2 to the upper floor. But is true that mk4 had the first stages with interactive objects for throw.

Area transitions and interactables are two completely independent things.

Everyone sees Scorpion swing off a branch in a forest or jump off the edge of a ship -like a ninja- and all of a sudden, this is Injustice 2: Gods Killing Gods.

Come on, y'all. There were things Injustice got right and was actually fun. It's okay to have those things that were great about Injustice in MK. The wager system was awful though.

Same here.
It's funny how the same people that are hoping to see MK4 thru MK: A characters return in MK X, suddenly got a case of amnesia and forgot that interactible objects were in MK4. Smdh

To be even more recent, gee I don't know hitting people into pillars and shit in MK:DA granted you extra damage, as well as the invisible wall. Not to mention the acid puke as people have said before.

MK:D and MK:A also had the attainable weapons, as well as the glass in the Beetle Lair and other shit you can knock your opponent into that doesn't have to be a Death Trap or another Stage Area.

It's amazing how quickly people forget things just because MK9 took us back to basics, and then jump on the "THEY'RE IMPORTING INJUSTICE FEATURES" horse. I agree at first glance the game does look like Injustice, but according to the people at E3, it's still our good old MK.
