Ideas for MK11

I'm definitely up for Kano's son being involved and being a replacement for Kano. I do hope Sonya, Johnny, Kenshi, and Jax are just cameos in MK11. I want some 3D-Era characters in the mix.
 
Same here.
My hopes are for less Trilogy characters and more post-MK3, MKX and new characters.

I will definitely start or sign a petition for Fujin, since this is the 2nd time that he gets f***ed out of being in an MK game.
 
I don't understand why people want 3d era characters so bad lol they're pretty much all terrible with the exception of a few, like Kenshi and Hotaru

Because nrs can make every character awesome. And we wanna see those characters get a chance

Because different opinions.
I personally don't care to ever see Hotaru, but I would definitely love to see Fujin, Reiko, Havik and Sareena getting a good revamp with new gameplay and graphics.

I want Sareena as DLC in this game, but I doubt we get it.

Fujin is alright.

Never understood the hyper for Havik and Reiko tho. I guess you'd have to read to comics to understand.
 
The only 6 characters that I've cared for from the post-MK3 / 3D era were Fujin, Reiko, Havik, Quan Chi, Shinnok and Sareena.
It has nothing to do with the comics.
I've wanted to see a proper revamp for Fujin, Sareena, Reiko and Havik ever since the terrible Armageddon.
 
Armageddon was a shame.

However, what I'd LOVE to see is a new revamped Konquest mode. I don't know about anyone else, but that was my favorite part of Deception/Armageddon.
 
My favorite part about Deception / Armageddon were Puzzle Kombat and Motor Kombat, respectively.
I could play hours and hours on end of those 2 mini-games.
I'd buy that shit in a heart-beat if NRS decided to port those 2 mini-games on 1 disc over to current-gen (which I doubt they ever will).
 
My favorite thing about the 3d era was the unlockable characters. Now you get all the characters from the beginning. It is not as much fun as searching for boxes in konquest mode

I suggest a new sorcerer as the new boss in this game: Tyranathon, which is my new name after striking a deal with Shang Tsung. He gives my Ring Of Souls life and in return i play host to his soul.

Backstory events revealed in endings typically are canon, regardless of whether or not the ending as a whole is canon, and there's documented precedent to back this up (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena, Kabal, Sindel, Quan Chi, and Noob Saibot have had such endings over the years), so Ermac having Jerrod's soul can safely be assumed to be canon.

Story:
The story line mainly follows the events of the special forces and the kingdom of Liu Kang. They seek to defend themselves from Raiden’s treats. Initially the special forces help Raiden, but later they see he has become mad.

My idea for the characters:

1. The Western blond hero aka Jean-Claude van Damme: Johnny Cage. In his ending he found the secrets to Edenian long life.
2. The blond girl: Cassie Cage. In MKX the role was divided between Sonya Blade and Cassie Cage, but Sonya gets old and loses character, as Cassie gets it. As in the next game Cassie is older, she is more mature and more Sonya like.
3. The badass who loves the blond girl and does anything he likes for himself: Class – Son of Kano. Kano was always after Sonya, as will his son Class be after Cassie. Class seeks to free his fellow Black Dragon members.
4. The Asian main hero aka Bruce Lee: Liu Kang. He is now the ruler of the Netherrealm alongside his queen, Kitana.
5. The dark haired girl and princess: Kitana. She rules as a revenant queen alongside Liu Kang.
6. The Sub-Zero: Bi-Han (Noob Saibot). While Kuai Liang seeks the road to a peaceful life with the Lin Kuei, Bi-Han is ordered by Liu Kang to stop Raiden’s influence on the Jinsei. Just as in MKX Jade is emerged in Kitana’s variations. Bi-Han is restored to his human form by Taven.
7. The Scorpion: Hanzo Hasashi. He regained his human form again in MKX, but at the end of MKXI he will be killed and put back to his spectre status by Bi-Han.
8. The thunder god who makes more troubles than things right: Raiden. He seeks to destroy everything that threatens earthrealm, but is blinded by this cause. He turns evil.
9. The four armed aka Shokan: Goro. He serves the emperor once again, this time Kotal Kahn. He vows to protect him from the treats of the thunder god Raiden.
10. The outworld emperor: Kotal Kahn. He has his struggles to remain his authority, but is aided by Goro.
11. The evil sorcerer sub-boss: Shang Tsung. After he has been freed from Ermac’s body and after he has usurped all other souls, he starts his journey to regain power again. He serves the emperor Kotal Kahn, but seeks to go to the Jinsei chamber himself.
12. The nobody, ever serving guy: Reptile. Serves Kotal Kahn again in the beginning, but later on he turns over to only serve Shang Tsung, who pledges to create his Zaterran folk.
13. The strong black guy: See ‘The black girl’.
The black girl: Jacqui Briggs. As she and Takahashi Takeda’s were wounded during the fight with the revenants, she got updated at the special forces headquarters with improved bionic arms, like Jax had them. Jax is killed by the mercenary Erron Black.
14. The swift and airy guy: Smoke. He is one of the loyal servants of Liu Kang.
15. The next earthrealm god: Taven. He is revived by Kenshi and Takahashi Takeda.
16. The next scorpion and Kenshi: Takahashi Takeda. He is still part of the special forces and still loves Jacqui Briggs. He has become blind, due to the attack by Reptile in the forrest, an outcome which only came about after the elder god Shinnok was defeated.
17. The dark looking good: Sareena. Seeks to help Bi-Han where possible, due to the events in MKMSZ. She also aids the special forces, forming a link between the two fronts.
18. The new Shaolin: Kung Jin. Tries to help his revenant fellows Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Kung Jin is a relative of Kung Lao and takes his hat in MKXI.
19. The brute and his little fellow: Ferra (brute) & ??? (little fellow). Semi-new character, as Torr is dead and Ferra now takes his place as a brute.

Cameo
20. D’Vorah. Is imprisoned and seen interrogated by the special forces.
21. Ermac. He is killed by Shang Tsung.
22. Erron Black. Is killed in a flashback of Jacqui.
23. Fujin. Tries to stop Raiden.
24. Havik. Is seen training Bi-Han and he aids Tsang Tsung.
25. Jax Briggs. Is killed in a flashback of Jacqui.
26. Kabal. He is a loyal servant of Liu Kang.
27. Kano. He trains Class and is later imprisoned.
28. Kenshi. Is seen freeing Taven alongside Takahashi Takeda.
29. Kuai Liang. Reigns the kingdom of the Lin Kuei with his queen Frost and is seen in the ending of Bi-Han.
30. Kung Lao. He is a revenant serving under Liu Kang, but he envies him.
31. Kurtis Stryker. He is a loyal servant of Liu Kang.
32. Nightwolf. He is a loyal servant of Liu Kang.
33. Rain. Hijacks the progress of his half-brother Taven.
34. Sheeva. She advices emperor Kotal Kahn together with Goro.
35. Sindel. She helps Kitana.
36. Sonya Blade
37. Tanya. Still hijacks Kotal Kahn’s reign.
38. Tremor. Is imprisoned.

This leaves (taking 24 selectable fighters) 5 places to be taken by new fighters.

A random, incomplete story idea:

Sonya dies early in Story Mode at the hands of Erron Black after a miscalculation during a mission to finally assassinate Kano. Cassie resents, and eventually disowns, Johnny for thinking he could have done more to save her (he couldn't have). Johnny still loved Sonya deep down, and is destroyed due to Cassie blaming him for her death. He resigns from the Special Forces since the memories are too much to bear, and tries to mask his pain by attempting an ill-fated return to acting.

When Johnny retires and Cassie goes rogue, that leaves Jacqui as the new head of the Special Forces. She, alongside Kung Jin, Takeda, and one new recruit, form the new generation of Special Forces.

He returns to assist Cassie later in the story in an "unbeknownst guardian" role without her consent, and they reunite shortly before Johnny sacrifices his own life to ensure Cassie's safety.

Eh, I don't know, nobody will be able to predict what happens. I just think it would be nice to see some original trilogy characters get a send-off via Story Mode and actually turn the page with the series for MKXI.
