Ideas for MK11

During the Netherrealm War, Jade was destroyed as a revenant by Tanya during a botched invasion on Outworld, but her soul was harvested by an unknown force and she was reborn in the Dream Realm, recreated by a mysterious shimmering goddess. This "goddess" did not reveal her name to Jade but gave her a mission, a task that would take years to complete. Jade's new master sent her back into the physical world to collect all 7 of the kamidogus and bring them back to the Dream Realm.

It took 25 years for Jade to collect all the kamidogu relics, evaded both "good" and evil forces and risked dying once more to do so, but she succeeded, the kamidogus had been collected in the Dream Realm. With their power combined, the shimmering goddess began to merge the 2 alternate universes created by Raiden's paradox.

Now...the 2 timelines, Raiden's altered present and the doomed original timeline, will converge into one, bringing with it heightened conflict.

More Dialogue between character before during and after the matches. Theyre awesome but quick. So hearing the same dialogues over n over gets old quick. Also more animations (Intros, Outros & in between matches)

Examples
Jax- How did you get out (walks in placing device in arms)
Tremor- You imprisoned me within the earth Briggs (creates stone pillars and pushes them in the earth)
Jax- Lesson Learned (Arms mechanically reinforce themselves)

During fatalities:
Jax- Sonya will will finish this (as he is about to be crushed)
Tremor- She too will the same fate as you (as he crushes Jax)

Non Fatality Outro:
Tremor- The earth will consume you (As he encase them in a stone tomb which begins to sink into the ground)
 
I would definitely like to see more faction members have cameos and fights.

White Lotus- They're fighting Monks, why every time we see them they're getting their asses kicked. let us see their skills
Lin Kuei- They had their warriors fighting
Black Dragon- apparently they have goons according to the comics, So put them in the game. Stop making it seem like a one man gang
Brotherhood of the Shadow- They had an army of Oni
Special Forces- We got to see them in action...lets keep that up.

All this I would think would make the story and characters have more depth/substance and ultimately want to know more about each one.
 
New clans would be nice.

As for the other factions:

White Lotus - They should have more monks from all over the world.

Black Dragon - Kano being the only one sucks. At least Tremor is with them.

SF - It's becoming more GI Joe

Lin Kuei - Could use more warriors and not just Frost. But more warriors with different talents.

Brotherhood of Shadow - With the old heroes as revenants, could use more demons and oni.

Shirai Ryu - More Shirai Ryu! Takeda was just the beginning.

Red Dragon - They should come back!
 
Here's how I'd do it, with a final roster (including DLC) of 36 characters:

1. Cassie Cage - The new protagonist; she's very secure going into the next game.
2. Takeda - Give him some more of Kenshi's psychic abilities, and let Kenshi sit out.
3. Jacqui Briggs - Make Jax's death in his ending canon, and give Jacqui some flashier stuff.
4. Kung Jin - Make his ending canon, but have Kung Lao be too emotionally scarred to go on as a hero.
5. Scorpion - Obligatory.
6. Sub-Zero - Obligatory.
7. Raiden - Dark Raiden on his extremist mission is a pretty clear theme for the next game.
8. Kotal Kahn - The 'Outworld as good guys' concept from his ending is great.
9. Li Mei - Outworld's Champion, trying to keep her people safe.
10-11. Liu Kang/Kitana - The new Deadly Alliance. Have them free and conquer/annex Edenia.
12. Shang Tsung - The new Deadly Alliance. (Sorry, Ermac -- that ending's canon.)
13. Reptile - Kotal Kahn's right hand. Let him actually have some plot weight.
14. Erron Black - Kotal Kahn's left hand -- one he can't trust unless he can pay. Rivalry with Jacqui.
15. D'Vorah - Have her throw in with Shang Tsung, since her sorcerer of choice is now headless.
16. Tanya - Kotal Kahn's prisoner when the story begins, but manipulates her way to his side.
17. Rain - Tanya's ending is only semi-canonical -- Rain escapes, though she does betray him.
18. Sindel - Revived by green-glowy Jade, she now faces her evil daughter in a role-reversal.
19. Fujin - Trying his best to contain Raiden's rage, but starting to doubt it's possible.
20. Sareena - It's about time she got some shine. With upheaval in the Netherrealm it just makes sense.
21. Ashrah - Emphasize the unwitting villain knight templar story. She kills Kia and Jataaka and comes for Sareena next.
22. Mileena - Resurrected by Shang Tsung, she chafes under his service, especially when he joins her sister.
23. Havik - Just doing his Havik thing. A wildcard.

24-28 are five new characters. One of them (Kano's son, perhaps) is the new leader of the Black Dragon.

Kombat Pack 1:

29. [GUEST]
30. Jade - Green-glowy ghost Jade from Kitana's MKX ending. Part of some higher mysterious purpose.
31. [GUEST]
32. Cyrax - Sub-Zero helped him the way Sonya and Jax did in the original timeline. Half-decyberized.

Kombat Pack 2:

33. Noob Saibot - It just makes sense. Give him some cool stuff with Sareena and Sub-Zero.
34. Sheeva - Now Queen of the Shokan as in the comics, and an ally to Kotal Kahn.
35. Reiko - They can find a way to bring him back. After the comic he's become very popular.
36. Frost - There's demand. Two females is unlikely in a pack, but I could see this.

Fightable Story Mode NPCs: Kia and Jataaka (in Ashrah's chapter; Sareena model-swaps and eventual bonus skins for Sareena), Noob Saibot (eventual DLC a la Tanya).

Other NPCs: Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Kenshi as Special Forces leaders. Kung Lao as a broken man trying to atone. Bo' Rai Cho as a tutor to our heroes. Tasia and Jarek doing Black Dragon nonsense. Kano in Special Forces custody, in a cameo. Ferra from her ending with a new rider, also in a cameo.
 
I think Jade (with a better purpose in the storyline as a ressurected character), Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Cassie, Kung Jin, Takeda, Jacqui, and Li Mei should all be the main protagonists this time with Fujin as their mentor.

Since Raiden, Kitana, and Liu Kang have all turned evil.
 
Some Ideas I have for new/returning characters

-Cyrax: in the battle for Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, Cyrax never interfered in their match even when ordered by Sektor. After Sektors defeat, Cyrax stepped forward to fight Sub Zero and but was bested by the Cryomancer. Defeated, Cyrax kneeled before Sub Zero and revealed his face stating, "Give me an honorable death Kuai Liang". Sub Zero about to deliver the blow, stopped and swore he would restore Cyrax somehow. The Special Forces have aided in this mission to restore Cyrax, but it will take time. So until they know what to do, Cyrax has aligned with both the Lin Kuei and SF retrofitted with the most Advance State of the Art Technology. He has never been deadlier.

-Frost: A misguided street orphan. Frost found her calling in Cage fights. Brutal and Unforgiving, her streak as Champion came to a halt when she lost to Cassie Cage. Hospitalized, she was take from her bed. When she woke she was in unaware of her location. Fighting the her way out until she was confronted by one man standing before her. She charged and fought with tenacity but to her surprise she suddenly could not move. The man revealed himself as Kuai Liang Code Name: Sub Zero. SZ tested her skill which she had, but not control. He promised if she stayed he can teach her more of her abilities and harness her true potential and her tell her of her past/history.

-Li Mei: Ever since Shinnoks defeat Li Mei has has been monumental in the help of her people's realm. She is proclaimed as their Champion/Protector among them. Because of Earthrealms help and aid when her Outworld people needed it, she remaining in contact with the SF & Raiden relaying intel of any news of threats. She trains hard so she can never be pushed out of her realm and protect them from evil men such as Kano who her people have a bounty on due to the crimes he committed in her realm.

-Fujin: The God of Wind and another of Earths protectors. Fujin has become worried about his fellow God and Friend Raiden. After the defeat of Shinnok, Raiden has taken a more aggressive approach in protecting Earthrealm. While his actions have led to peace, he has in some realms unprovokedly attacked their Leaders to send the Message Earthrealm is off limits and is not to be trifled with. Fujin has spoken with SF Leaders who share their same concern over Raiden's actions as of late. They hope with what they are planning they can purify Raiden but fear it may be to late and his fall is what may be require, a task Fujin would regrettably have to undertake.

-Sareena: Sareena had escaped Quan Chi's control, but not his wrath. While in the Netherrealm she was hunted by her fellow assassin's Kia & Jataaka. With Quan Chi's death however she no longer bound to the Netherrealm. She was able to escape and seeks refuge at the one place she might be accepted...the Lin Kuei Temple.

-Ashrah: Coming across and ancient weapon that purifies it wielder. Ashrah for centuries had slain demons. But due to Shinnok's control in the Netherrealm she could only slay so many at a time without drawing attention to herself. With Shinnok's death, Ashrah has begun to slay numerous of Demons an Oni enabling her to purify herself at a faster rate and ascend out of Netherrealm and into...Earthrealm?!

-Kano's Son: Raised within the Black Dragon from its members (Tremor, Tasia, Jarek, No Face, Kabal [before leaving] & Kira) Kano's son had been through it all from being beaten & tortured to training in Combat, Weapons, High Tech Sabotage. After returning from a mission with his own team. Tasia had given him new orders...To break out his father from a SF Maximum Security Prison...ALONE! This is what he's been waiting for!

how come everyone seems to want such few new characters? I want at least as many as mkx had. plus the mkx newcomers should all be in, well a mabey for ferrah/torr.
 
I want Daegon and Taven to come back as it was hinted in Kenshi and Takeda's endings...

Li Mei, Nitara, Ashrah, Hotaru and Havik should also be given a chance.

Is this gonna happen? NO.
 
The new characters in MKX where pretty well like. I'm welcome for new and creative characters in MK now since most of the ones from MKDA - MKA where generic and boring.
 
All the characters from Armageddon would be nice. We need BoRaiCho back. He was heavily HEAVILY HEAVILY teased at in the story. Shang Tsung = back for sure. Shujinko- has a 50% chance of getting in as a resurrect. Hopefully we get an MKDeception2. (25% chance because raiden turned bad just like he did in MKD.) I really liked hotaru, havik, bo rai cho, and shujinko.

- Three fatalities (two normal ones and one based on the variation that you play as)
- Return of stage fatalities
- Have some mini games return
- No more MK1-3 nostalgia. I'm getting sick of classic MK nostalgia. MK has been milking on MK 1-3 nostalgia since MKD. MK9 being "Mortal Kombat 1-3 Greatest Hits Edition" made sense since it was a reboot. The game wanted to introduced new fans to the series and bring back old ones who stop caring about MK for over a decade. Maybe three old stages would be nice in MK11, but I still like to see new content in the next game.

Actually, nostalgia has been in MK since Day 1.

MK1 had Pacman on the Palace Gates stage.
MK2 had Pong.
MK3 had Galaga.
MKT had Space Invaders.
MK4 brought back Goro's Lair and the Living Forest.

I say keep nostalgia so we can rub it in the faces of new fans how long MK has been around.

I'd love to see all of this, as well.
Less MK1-3 stuff.
More MK4 thru MKD stuff and new characters.
