Perhaps the demo they gave us (where all the leaks came from) had the information on Rain specifically ripped out to hide his existence.

Are you implying that they actually saw the demo hacks coming and purposely left Human Smoke, among others, to be discovered on purpose?

It's an interesting take on the matter but I wouldn't believe that.

No matter what, I have high hopes for Rain appearing. I really don't see why he shouldn't (or couldn't). If he doesn't make it on the final roster, I wouldn't doubt he would be a DLC at some point. They released Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath a month after Marvel vs Capcom was released so if he isn't available right away, for whatever reason, there is still a chance he will be included later.

Sorry to get your hopes up, ninja. I know you were looking forward to seeing Rain more than anyone. It must suck to have your favorite character not make the final cut. My favorite Kabal made it in and he looks slick, so this doesn't phase me too much. As for you, let's hope your grieving is short-lived. :tee: Here's to Rain in a DLC pack sometime in our near future.

oh hell no, I'm not giving up. I still believe he is in. he could be unlockable and appear in the DLC slots like CSZ or something. but I guess if he isn't, DLC it is -.- there's also another thing that bothers me though, I still don't know if this will come out for pc. I'm a mk fan since my childhood and I will literally buy a ps3 just for that if I gotta but if they announce it for pc, I guess I could wait and until then take over a friend's place (that bastard has both a ps3 and an xbox 360)

MK is all about two things:
1) gameplay
2) presentation

This game on a ridiculously oversized HDTV would be better than on a pc monitor. Borrow your friend's xbox ..permanently. he doesn't need it. :flute:

I respect that. Not a fanboy of either console. Although before you buy the ps3, wait to see what nrs announces as the exclusive content for the xbox. If it's better than Kratos, that could change your opinion drastically. After all, it's all about MK right?

absolutely! rumour has it that it's an exclusive mode.. but yes, nothing is for sure yet so we gotta wait. if it's not worth it, Kratos would be a good addition I guess. he fits in mk as a character (brutality-wise, not story-wise of course)
