Re: Cyrax and sektor human alts + shangs tsungs other fatality
OK, I was missing for one day from this board and that's the result...
Here are my thoughts: first of all, those pics are real and legit, there's nothing that makes me think of a fake, even that clown stuff.
Second: I like how human Cyrax looks and the concept behind, but I would have depicted his uniform in a different way. OK, they are assassins but are also weapons specialists, what's the meaning of going around dressed like Karate Kid with bombs on their belts???
About his moveset: he can easily have the same moves as his cyborg counterpart, really not a big deal: bombs are, well, bombs, same for the teleport; about the net, he can either have a "normal" net or some kind of paralyzing fireball/projectile, same for his buzzsaw projectile, it could be some kind of shuriken for long range and a closed range blade to use in combos and stuff.
Sektor: definitely not liking him!
His appearance is too similar to Shang Tsung, but what is even worse is that STUPID fuel tank on his back! It's a horrible design choice IMO, they could have had it fixed in hundreds of other ways! Come on, you enter a martial arts tournament armed with a flamethrower??? And don't even try to tell me that other characters have weapons too, this one is just plain stupid! Now I'm afraid to know what they thought for missiles... :!
Lin Kuei must be the most cartoonish clan of assassins in the universe: first, they dress with bright colors like blue, yellow etc., then go around wearing heavy weapons limiting their movements and agility...
About the clown: yes, it could be either a fatality (if it's Shang Tsung's one, the amount of FAIL will be huge) or some kind of punishment to be found in the Challenge Tower or for doing something wrong in the Fatality Trainer.
