How to counter Sheevas teleport stomp+throw? Help!

ok every once in a while i get a sheeva player and all they do is telestomp and grab me and repeat the whole process. I can avoid it but the moment i get stomped am screwed for the whole game. Am preety sure people have encounter this stradegy online.

Any help?
 
Well I know Sub-Zero players leave an ice clone for her to stomp on and get caught.

But moves like Stryker's roll, or Reptile's dash can transport you out of trouble.

Or let's say you're Skarlet. You can probably time her teleport so after Sheeva hits the ground and misses, you hit her with the teleport.

So in all, I'd use specials like those to move your way out of trouble or counterattack.
 
As Smoke you can teleport as soon as Sheeva teleports. As Jax I just dash backward and then throw a superman punch. Sheeva is a crap character, so you only have to anticipate her moves.
 
Always remember when she throws you, roll BACK on the floor. This will get you some distant and if she jumps again, immediately jump back and kick. If she gets you again with the stomp, use a wakeup. One with a bar to be safe. As a Sheeva player I hate players that play her like that, but eventually you'll learn that tactic is easy to beat. She arguably has the best teleport in the game.

A well timed Neutral Punch would work. and its Helps if you want to combo after.
 
Basically jump forward or backward when she does she will always hit the ground, once that happens land a combo. while on the ground either roll or do a wake up attack.

As Kenshi I found out that if they spam the jump grab combo that his tele furry (the punching one) is faster than the jump, and his down sword thing catches them even in the middle of a jump.

So if they spam I spam, and I win.
 
Kung= spin and she's hit
Raiden = teleport + combo
Sub = clone
Kabal = nomad away 2 times, the first you go away the second she's caught in if she doesn't block or try to stomp once again
Sektor = dash forward ( think is one of the fastest dash ) then TU
scorp, ermac, smoke = tele

it's pretty easy to avoid or, as said, just timing to jump back + kick.
 
I LOVE using Mileena on people who use this tactic, because if you time it right, you can tele-kick and land a hit from ABOVE the screen (which never fails to throw them off), and there's even enough room to pull off a 26% air combo, so if you have the guy that takes like 3-4 times to realize his technique doesn't work, you won before he could do anything about it ;D

repeatedly dashing back then comboing beats Sheeva's stomp with any character. I say repeatedly cause it needs to be timed right but if you dash 2-3 times it always misses. Also if she catches you with it alot of ppl like to do her high kick or throw on your wake up, I usually beat it with an uppercut or jump overhead-combo
 
Guys, you can also just walk in any direction to make it miss.

Now when i say 'walk' i mean WALK.
No dashing, simple walk forward/backwards until she lands ( right next to you )
What you do from there is up to you.
