Havik and Kobra

Kobra no.
Havik, hell yes, because have potencial, good costume, good tricks and good name. Havik sounds Badass.
Anyway, if havik returns someday, must appear with this look.

Look down, where havik is, is a costume more medieval mixed with teracota warriors style, so friking awesome.
 
my list for DLC from the post UMK3. 1.Kenshi- despite what people say he isn't a poor man's ermac. 2. Fujin-He was given to much of an important role to not be included to me. 3.-Havik a perfect fit chaos and mayhem isn't that what the are going for? Plus his fatals would be crazy with all the slice points. 4. Shinnok-being a former elder god should have some merit. 5-Kai well because we could use another black dude with skillz lol.
But before any of them get in RAIN.
 
Havik is the only decent character introduced in Deception. I prefer his alternate costume.

His name is pretty uninspired.. The torso spin and crackling legs projectile are funky moves. I would prioritize Kenshi, Rain and a few MK4 characters over him for DLC. He's an average design but does have potential.

Kobra has zero potential. None, nada, zip, zilch..

I actually love the name Havik. I loved his story the most in MKD. His alt is truly better than his main , but that one is good too. I prefer him over Kenshi and Rain any day.

And I don't understand the last minute fill thing. I mean all of the MKD's new characters felt out of the place, but they added a new level of storyline in MK. I don't like how many people want MK to remain as a simple tournament. That is so uninspired.
 
Ermac > Kenshi.

WTF why all the Kobra hate? He was the business. He has a low and high fireball. A special that has overhead properties, and whipping out the kali sticks in combos would look sick.

Because as you described, half his specials are Liu Kang. Combine that with the fact he looks too much like Ken and what you have is a ripoff and nothing more.

Kobra was too normal for MK leave that with Stryker. Personally i know shes from Deadly Alliance but i would love Li Mei to be DLC i mean no fighting game is a fighting game without the resident female martial artist:

Street Fighter - Chun Li (first Lady of Fighting)
Tekken - Ling Xiaoyu
DOA - Lei Fang
Virtua Fighter - Pai Chan
Soul Calibur - Xianghua

Mortal Kombat got Li Mei who was pretty kickass in Deadly Alliance especially her design, in Deception her importance was kinda toned down abit but her new design was awesome and in Armageddon she had some storyline with Shinnok and the Netherrealm.

i am 95% sure he is gonna be DLC He is the greatest character from the Depression Era and he is one of my absoulte favs of all time.

if Ed boon really decides to get rid of Hsu Hao Shujinko and Jarek which in my opinion these are the worst characters ever!

[I think he did tried to get rid of Jarek in MK4 Jax ending]

he will kill em off in MK9 or the next game which should feature The good characters from The MK Depression Era, classics and some new peoples.

and stop hating on Kobra if think about it he is pretty brutal but just a bad story or "gimmick" par say if he had a better story and somewhat different moveset would he be better? From what i understand Ed boon killed him off in Armageddon so i might change this thread to just havik even though both of these characters are my favs and im about 81% sure havik is "IN" Whether its the story or he is playable

Ed boon made a smart move in armageddon by killing off all the bad characters

in a way Havik seems like Quan chi even though he is loosely based off Noob saibot
