Havik and Kobra

Maybe it'd be better if Kobra changed all his looks. (Such as a shaved head with an outfit similar to his MKD alternate.) His moves shuld be a little more different also instead of just a generic abilities such as a fireball.

I know I'm not a fan of Havik but I think he is a good candidate for DLC.

My favorite post MK3 characters are Nitara, Li Mei, and Tanya. They (especially Nitara and Tanya) deserve to be DLC with cool moves and nasty fatalities.
 
I want as many of the MK-ites in MK2011 as the next guy...

But to be petitioning for these nonentities when even a playable Kahn is in doubt is... well... you figure it out. >_>
 
MK4 characters should have higher priority, IMHO.
They are more closer to the original story.
So, Shinnok & Tanya should be fine.
 
Man, I wouldn't mind shinnok if he didn't look so fukn ridiculous.
His story actually bears weight on the saga.

Tanya's an ugly slut and should be forgotten about forever.

Ill give you tanya, I actually like her character, but Nitara seemed so out of place, and her story about being from a destroyed realm of vampires just left me like "wtf?", and to me, Li mei was just a ridiculously generic character, perhaps not as bad as kobra, darrius, kira, and all those characters, but still generic.
 
Again, Kobra has to be one of the worst MK characters ever! He just was not unique enough and nothing at all was interesting about him. I hated Kira too but, I like her better than him.

And about Havik I think he is an awesome character! But, Havik is not necessarily evil. He just doesn't believe in order. I would gladly accept him back in a later game. Hopefully Hotaru comes along with him as his rival. I like the good rival based characters that make up MK. Those two would be perfect candidates!

I like a lot of post Ultimate MK 3 characters: Quan Chi(he is vying for my favorite next to scorpion), Tanya(actually a really evil and treacherous character who ties along with Quan Chi), Ashrah(totally different take on a female fighter and I love her moves), Frost(could easily be fleshed out to be a real outstanding contender wanting to take Sub's mantle), Havik, Hotaru, Kenshi, and Shujinko(just give him some orighinal moves and he is good to go).

Hearing a lot of these characters on the forum?????? From where? This is the first I have seen either of these two seriously mentioned here.

Man, these forums just died since we got the spoilers section. I might as well un-bookmark it until the release date. Just have to resist the temptation of looking in that section....

What are you people talking about, Havik deffinately had a story, and it was a good one.
He hates order, he feels that not only the order we see as "bad" is bad, but all order, no matter how it is seen is bad, which makes sense because no matter whose ruling, theres always someone who is displeased with it. Therefore he believes in chaos, and therefore promotes it to the best of his ability, trying to bring the realms into an eternal chaotic mess. He therefore alligns himself with whoever is working toward his goal, such as the black dragon, who if you think of it, like all gangs, don't really have a plausable goal themselves.

Thats why I love him as a character, he's so crazy that it's actually sensible.

SO as you can probably tell, i'm definately a fan of Havik, but I DON'T think he should be in this game, but the next instead.
KOBRA should be scrapped and/or KILLED OFF because he was a very unnecessary filler that was purely meant to be the "all around character" that was easy to play with, since lui kang lost that title upon death

I agree with you with KOBRA he is POINTLESS to have in the games. But i feel the same as Kira, i feel that they MK team was just like: hey sonya and kano won't be in this game. What!? Okay lets give a new retarded, pig tail wearing/ think she's 10 slut their moves and call it a day.
I don't like Hotaru, but will accept him as an okay character when Havik is included because they were a good matchup for rivals/enemies.

Kenshi should deffinately come in, in the next game because he was GREAT as a character and i feel that he was one of the best fits for the MK series.

Shujinko, i feel, should NOT be included in the game. I think that he should EITHER:
-be killed off by Raiden, who finds out about him and foils his adventure so that Armageddon is avoided
OR
-be killed by Havik, who hates the dragon king and the order he tries to uphold, and therefore eliminates his chances of resurrection
 
Kenshi is a blindfolded Ermac.

The majority of characters from the 3D era make me wanna kick a hole
straight through my idiot box. There are few exceptions.

Kenshi is shit like Ermac! He only learned some of his Telekinetic powers. His apperarance and story are way different than Ermacs. Ermac just helpd Kenshi get an edge because of his blindness. Kenshi would definatlely be a viable candidate to make it in a later game. He always wanted to enter the MK tournament to free his ancestor's souls from Kenshi. But, even before he was blind Kenshi was a respected warrior. This time around Kenshi could keep his sight and his moveset could be completly different. He is not at all a pallet swap like many characters were. And even many of those pallet swap characters have become great characters. Even Ermac himself.

@Axe I would love to see Fujin return as well.

But yeah... Kobra is awful. But Havik is the best thing that have happened to all of the post mk3 games along with Quan Chi. He is a savage self-mutilating beast that can eat your arms off. If they bring him in he really need to chew someones eye out in his X-Ray ;}
Or perhaps break his own legs to gain some life?

As long as they bring him back in this game or the next I'm fine. But it would be really great to see him return again.
