I like the fact Jim wasnt owned by Sega or Nintendo. He was just his own character.

I couldnt imagine Nintendo creating something like him. And Sega....well besides Sonic and VectorMan, all their characters sucked ass in my opinion. But maybe he could have fit as a Sega exclusive, at least more than a nintendo one.

But even if he was owned by one of them, I'm sure he still would have suffered the same fate of being casted into obscurity forever like he is now. But the HD remake is a good sign. Hope more people pay attention to it ,so maybe we can get a petition going for an EarthWorm Jim 4.
 
the original Earthworm Jim is one of may all time favorite games, I had it for SNES, and loved it, but I will admit that this is one of the rare titles that was hands down better on Genesis IMO, I played the Genesis version at a friends house and it just played better and ran smoother, but I still love my SNES copy regardless. I also got EWJ HD on my PS3, its awesome, I hope they do EWJ 2 in HD, then release them both on disc. I also wonder how the heck the current gen systems are'nt making a modern EWJ game, it would be amazing!

When I'm not frustrated over getting the answers wrong, it's pretty much the greatest thing ever. It's just too damn funny.

the first time I ever played the game show part, I thought you had to re-do the whole level when you guessed wrong. Cause when it dumps you off, it looks like the beggining. haha I was pissed for a second there.
 
The bonus levels in Earthworm Jim HD are insane :laugh:
The Boss on the third one is keyboard cat, it's pretty goddamn hard to beat him too.
I got so close to beating level 5 last night, but died on the final part.

Please excuse my double post, but I updated the OP for those who are unaware of The Jim (And I like using Jade's format).
Also, I beat Earthworm Jim HD this morning!!
Queen Slug-for-a-butt trembled before my blaster and with that final whip, I kicked that ass.
Now I'm really craving an HD remake of Earthworm Jim 2. I'll pay any price :mullet:
