No to get out of a vortex you just block low or high and guess correctly. If you guess correctly you're highly in an advantage and get a free combo off of low and even when you block high though timing is more strict when you block his medium.

So a vortex is a 50/50 guess it's 100% equally fair for both members participating it's only dangerous because If scorpion guess too many times right in a row he can catch up or get a head. But if you guess right you get to deal the same damage back if not more only difference is you can't reset that same scenario.

I try my best to get cage out with Insta Sais but EX shadow kick puts him right in my face :(
