German Gamepro article rough info guide

Wrong. Sodom and Metallica both released their first demos in 1982. Kreator the following year as Tormentor. Not to mention how unlikely it is that Sodom or Kreator even heard Metallica around 1982 or 83. The fact that the German big 3 sound nothing like any of the American big 4 should have tipped you off from the beginning. You're just some old metal guy who thinks he knows everything, but doesn't know shit.

Demos don't count.

Only full length studio albums do.

You're dumb. You've lost this argument rather pathetically, yet you continue. What a sad caricature of human being you are. You may continue to argue with yourself if you wish. But I'll just put you on my ignore list because I don't really have time for your idiocy.

I hate Tarkatan trash sometimes.... he doesn´t read or understand the posts and he doesn´t analyse his facts
I am very secure in my position that the release of a debut album is the official date of birth for a music career, thank you very much.

And by the way, the Ignore List is a scam. You can unhide someone's posts at will.

Okay, so the article is real and it really writes that Kotal Kahn is the Sohn of Shao. So either GamesPro mistranslated successor as descendant/son or Kotal is the bastard son of Shao from an Aztec Godess or something and that's why Mileena is pushed aside.

By the way, if you look at the tweet of Ed Boon, the guy says I don't buy the 'Kotal is Shao's son' theory. Then Ed responds that they have no relation. This could be sarcastic as Okay, if you say so then they are not related. Or Ed Boon is trolling around again. But if Kotal has a major role in the story, I could imagine that Boon didn't want to confirm it early so he kept us in the dark about it since people trust his every word as canon instantly.

As much as I hate her, Mileena is the legal heir to Shao Kahn.

Or... the magazine got it wrong; they get things wrong all the time. I remember a magazine said that Kintaro would be DLC for MK9. It doesn't have to be a mistranslation.

Again, Kotal Kahn could kill Mileena (for all we know), or just decide altogether to take the throne himself.
He is, in fact, the NEW Emperor of Outworld.

In the latest Raiden video, Ed Boon says:

"In MK X, Raiden finds himself with many of his allies dead or gone, leaving him to face Kotal Kahn, a new Emperor who has taken over Outworld"

I did point out (don't remember if it's this thread or another) that Outworld has not been known for peaceful transfer of power, so the safe assumptions are, Mileena was assassinated, or somehow got swindled out of the throne.

I kinda hope that Kotal didn't kill Mileena and that she does return for this game.

Of course, also hoping that she has a new personality other than being extremely childish. Wasn't there a scene in 2011's story mode where someone mentions that Mileena would take over after Kahn's first death? (The scene right after Liu wins the tournament, there's a group of characters that gathers in his throne room) I just don't remember who blurted it out.

... I could just go look it up on Youtube.

Yeah, there was a scene like that. I believe it was after Liu Kang defeated Shao Kahn, so at the end of the MK2 arc/ beginning of MK3.

If Mileena is going to change alignment over this, her slutty demeanor had better go bye-bye! That is the primary reason I hate her in the first place.

And it was Baraka who blurted it out. I even remember the exact quote word-for-word.

"Mileena is his heir. She should rule."

I forgot Baraka said that.
I wonder how their relationship will be in MKX.

Will they be enemies like the Deception arc? Or will they team up to take Outworld from Kotal.

Wouldn't it be sick if Raiden and the other heroes actually helped Mileena and the Tarkatans take back Outworld? To keep prevent Kotal from completing whatever insane plan he has.

The Tarkatan race have historically sided with the most ruthless of leaders, because only those leaders will satisfy their natural thirst for blood and warfare. Assuming Mileena survives throughout the entirety of MKX and my whole "screwed out of the throne" theory comes to pass, I believe Kotal Kahn's rule over Outworld will lead to a schism between her and Baraka, and in true Tarkatan fashion, Baraka will side with Kotal. Whether this betrayal leads Mileena to join forces with Raiden & his allies, or act alone in attempting to take her throne back remains to be seen (I think the latter scenario is more likely).

I wish I could remember Deception's story better.
What was Mileena's reason for taking control of Kitana's army again? I remember she was using it to fight the Onaga Aligned Tarkatans, but what was her main goal?

I don't think she had a clear goal, at first she wanted to kill Kitana's allies and army, but then she realized that she was at command of Kitana's army and was living Kitana's life, which is what she always wanted in the old timeline.

Originally, her main goal was to sabotage Kitana's army with the help of Baraka and his Tarkatan hordes, even going as far as masquerading as Kitana herself (since she was created using Kitana's exact DNA, was believed to have been killed by Kitana, and the real Kitana's death, resurrection, and brainwashing was still a mystery to her own army, this was an easy task for Mileena to pull off). It was actually a combined army of Kitana's Edenian Army combined with Outworld denizens not loyal to any of its evil rulers that were assembled by Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei, if I remember correctly...

Well...Mileena apparently underestimated the very army she attempted to sabotage, because her attempt backfired when that same army scored an upset victory over Baraka's Tarkatan hordes. Mileena knew then that she was in control of the strongest army in the realms. However, only Baraka himself knew of her treachery, and HIS army was the one that got sabotaged. THAT was where the schism began between the two; Baraka wanted payback for what he perceived as betrayal, and Mileena wanted to silence her former ally before he even had a chance to blow her cover.
