Shit, you're right. I think it's probably because you input the walking corpse before the 2 fully connects and the armor gets buffered in there immediately before the kick even recovers. Armored normals FTW. GRUNDY SMASH!
 
With any teleport (not counting scorpion or MMH) my best statergy is just to grab. Its never failed me, never tested it but I'm sure you can't whiff a grab within range. I know some fighters don't let you grab crouching opponents. But I grab the hell out of Ares, Zatanna and Killer Frost.
 
You grab Frost from her slide? I might have to try that. Though most of them either jump back or ExB3


3d fighters are where you can't grab crouching opponents with normal grabs.
Most, if not all, 2d fighters grabs hit standing and crouching.
 
People rarely ever tech grabs online. Even I hardly get them. The pros tech them what seems like 90% of the time. Partly because they are really good, partly because good players are somewhat more predictable.

fck every Batman player. Every single one of them. Especially people that still play a Day 1 Batman (99% of Batman players). There isn't a single main character in any game that is more obnoxious than Batman. I'd rather face Ragna, Hayabusa, Ryu, or Scorpion any day of the week.
 
Yeah, grabbing works. Killer Frost's slide is basically useless against a smart Grundy player.
WC vs Slide = WC due to armor and ability to cancel -- MB trait vs slide = MB trait has good range but wiffs at times -- regular grab vs slide = a bad day for grundy.

D1 slide combos - d1 mbf3 combos - tech throw b1 up 3 or b1 slide or f2mbf3.

only yolo frost lose to crouch block+throw

That's because people think it's safe but it's not. Hold down -> block -> throw... GG. A good KF will zone you to force you to rush in for a vortex punish but after a certain distance slide is the last thing you want to use.. b1, u3 // f3 // ji3 (cross up) slide all vortex and scale less.

her slide is not what you need to worry about because she has a nasty meterburn overhead for people that crouch block. Most yolo grundy players never see it coming and once it connects its vortex city of 50 50s.
 
My opinion

Hawkgirl, Supes, Raven, WW, Bats, Aqua and maybe MMH IMO are problems for her 5-5 MU but she just can't have her way with them.

What are some of Frost's bad matchups?

black atom 6-4 (not sure if his recent nerfs changed this match up )but she can still win if you play patient.
green lantern 6-4 but it's argued 5-5 so idk
MMH 6-4 ( I haven't fought enough high level man hunters to say for sure but TYM says he wins )
other than superman (maybe but it's also argued 5-5) she goes even or beats the rest of the cast.
