General Injustice Gods Among Us Gameplay Chat

Lol Immortal.

Hey I did the hard knock down into super thing and it didn't hit.
Is this just a practice thing cause I was in practice when I did this

2, 2, 3 I believe lets you set up an arrow of your choice and does the super reset as well.

I was in practice mode and was not able to pull off the super reset

You'll never take away his titles though. 2 time world champ is far from scrub

But Reaver, what should I be doing with Grundy when I'm halfscreen testing the waters with someone, how do I keep them afraid to get in on me while simultaneously moving in on them?

223 is a great ender to switch an arrow. If the super whiffs, you simply didn't wait long enough. Set the AI to jump backward and see if you can time it just as they wake up. Some wake-up attacks can escape it though.

I know, but he still got blown up.

I like to use B2 to fake them out and make them think I'm using Swamp Hands. The animation looks a lot like it. Practice Walking Corpse cancel pressure. If you can get good with that, you'll be doing really well. F122 is also a good string to cover distance. If they block it, it causes a lot of stun block to do some cancel pressure to grab them.

This guy has a great Cyrax though. I'm watching on Twitch on XBL. Crazy DJT 88. I've never heard of him before. He doesn't rely on resets either.

Crazy DJT 88 just won EVO 2013 with Cyrax. Hell yeah!!!

No problem. Something else that I've been incorporating into my play is 33 arrow cancel. Pull out any arrow after 33 and dash cancel out of it. 33 is a good move but 38 recovery frames makes it really punishable.

My mains change. Usually when I get into a fighting game, I try to learn every character. I can random select on MK9 like no other fck alive. haha. There's always a reason why I drop a character. Well I still play as them sometimes, but why I don't main them anymore.

In order..

Deathstroke: Noobs gave him a bad name, combos kind of too strict online.
Grundy: Dropped for a while because I got tired of the uphill battle VS zoners. (picked back up)
Batman: I got tired of being called a Batman noob.
Ares: Horrible Anti-Air game. Wake-up game isn't so bad now.
Green Arrow: High learning curve, got tired of losing so much. (picked back up)
Scorpion: He's hated too much. Since I mostly play against online friends that are pissed off by him, I dropped him. I pull him out against people who play with no respect.

Funny thing about Deathstroke is that people always want to play Scorpion against me

Seriously this 1000 win guy picks Scorpion thinking he can beat me with shenanigans
I actually spelled that word right the first time. WHOA

I think Reaver dropped Scorp because of how ass he is now.

That J3 really is trash. He has no good cross up normals anymore. I was using him today and it whiffed so many times where it was once guaranteed.

Vital were you at work all day or something?
I'm sorry for the spoils man, I was too hype :(

Yup, Didn't get home until 8:30ish..

I'm getting paid this week so It's all good. I still got a chance to watch Top 8 of P4A with Shira over XBL, it was mad intense and I was inspired to main Aigis when I get the game.

Tier whoring scumbag
jk I have no idea about that game

I was going to Tier whore with Mitsuru, but Aigis is too Gawdesslike.

On topic:

Looking forward to seeing Injustice pools, I'm hoping to see a good Batgirl player because she's hella hype now.
