General Injustice Gods Among Us Gameplay Chat

I never run into zoners

Can't tell you the last time I fought a strictly zoning Death or Supes.

Maybe there are less scrubs on PS3. I run into a bunch of zoning Supes, I haven't been seeing as many Deathstrokes but they're still around. Or maybe I just have bad luck with matchmaking.

The swag daddy is immune to zoning, people aren't stupid enough to space Wanda, Dat A+ss Tier warrior is too stronk.

Supes zoning is the only one that really gets to me, I can get around Deathstroke but Superman's lasers are too damn good.

I'd be happy if they were nerfed into the Phantom Zone.

Supes laser is very annoying, but not OP. Slade and Shiera are the only ones that can beat him when it comes to trading projectiles in the air. I usually have no problems fighting against Supes. But I do agree that the zoning gets constantly boring. It's more interesting when doing fighting close up as more of a rushdown, unless it's a specific character that forces you to play as a zoner.

I would never cry OP in this game. Every character has a 7-3 match up but counter picking is lame... I want to play with my main and most of the time I never learn the match up. Very hard mode still rapes me once I get to aquaman and I have played against 100 or so deferent aqua players.

Diana's air dash punch rips through Superman's aerial lasers.

Superman is a beast but I would like to see the little guys get buffed before he gets nerfs. I will say that his trait is absolutely ridiculous. Extra start up frames on activation would be a fair nerf.

Supes is fine all of the characters are but this game feels 70% player 30% character. You can cry about a zoner one game and wish You never met a rushdown player using the same character in the same session.

Harleys Play Doctor and Banes Backbreaker are the same directional inputs.

Yet my success rate is 1/10 with Harley yet I never fail with Bane......WHY!!!?

I literally don't know what the issue is.

Lets take corner combos for example: 1.1.Play Doctor or 1.2.Play Doctor are best enders yet its the will of the gods if I get it.

I don't think she's a very friendly character as sometimes her tantrum stance won't come out after back.2.2 or she won't cartwheel. I'll be mid combo and she'll just stop dead in her tracks and I'm at a loss, I have the timing down, I think 600 matches with her has given me enough knowledge to know when and where to put inputs.

Maybe its an online issue, I dunno

I have input issues online with batman but not with any other main. Sometimes 223 b3 will not take the b3 at all and he will just stand there.

You're absolutely right about that Riko. I bet that is because of the most players (usually the casuals) playing online don't wanna step up their game or wanna learn how to properly win the match against those in which the match-ups are in the opponents' favor.

And I forgot who said this in the posts before, but you definitely can't sleep on Lex as he is getting around lately. I'm surprised I still hardly see any Cyborg players, even way before the very first patch ever came in. If J'onn is announced as the next DLC in the 2nd season DLC batch, I'm dropping Ollie for him in my 3rd slot of mains (1st is Hawkgirl and my 2nd is Green Lantern).

Trouble with Cyborg is mid screen he's not that great, corner is where he shines.

A mid screen Cyborg player will likely just attempt to zone you out, but his zoning isn't as good as you'd expect. I played him like Hawkgirl and Green Arrow, hit and run as his combos are not damaging mid screen.

But saying that a good Cyborg player (which I havent seen myself personally) could probably f you up

I main Lex and no you can't sleep on him. He's actually really good in the right hands. And Cyborg is beastly at any range. With 1 bar of meter he can easily do 30%+ anywhere on the screen.

Played last night on KOTH, and was having a good roll, although I was using a few characters here and there, even though Reaver was roadkill on that night, plus he almost had me when he was Grundy. :)
