Games your maxed out in

I notice no RPGs mentioned here... lol... the sort of people who max out RPG's are not the sort that hang out here for sure

Not true at all, I didn't list any RPG because there are so many ways to play, I wouldn't feel right listing one unless I maxed out every option.

Prototype, Prototype 2, Fallout 3 & New Vegas (every quest, unique weapon and armor) Saints Row 3, Scarface, maxed out Venom in UA2, maxed out Mordecai in Borderlands, HoTD Overkill, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Shaolin Monks (116%), MK4, MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception, MK Arageddon, SSX on Tour, Kaori in SSX 2012, Spyro Year of the Dragon, Spyro 2, Spyro Enter the Dragonfly, Melee, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Fusion.

Im sure you will have fired up the wrath of Critical Limit with this comment. I was under the impression he was big into them and maxing them out, but perhaps that is my clouded perception.

Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 (1 was to hard for me to get 100%), Crash Team Racing, Spyro, MediEvil, War of the Monsters, NFS Hot Pursuit 2, Ratchet and Clank up your Arsenal, MK Armageddon, Motor Storm 1,2 and 3, Aliens vs Predator, Risistance 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1,2 and 3, Prototype 1 and 2, Infamous 1 and 2, Brutal Legend, Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

I don't think so. As serious as he is about his competitive gaming, plus the fact that he actually has a job, he likely doesn't have time for countless hours of grinding RPG characters.

Vandal Hearts - All characters are upgraded to highest tier class, including the hero's secret class. Due to the finite number of battles and enemies, it is virtually impossible to make every character reach to the max level without doing some ridiculous exploits.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Got every item and power up available.

Jak and Daxter - Finished the game collecting all precursor orbs and power cells

Fallout 3: GOTYE - Across several playthroughs, acquired unique weapons, unlocked all trophies, and beat about every quest available.

Donkey Kong Country - All levels completed and bonus items in each level were collected at some point.

It takes forever to max out Armageddon (if you consider the KAF parts)

I spent all of December 2010 maxing out that game on PS2. Nearly 12 hours a day clearing Konquest over and over and over to get enough coins.

If anyone else here has done it, congratulations.

In other words, you didn't actually max them out. This is exactly what I mean. To undisputedly max out an RPG requires a type and level of nerdiness that generally doesn't lead the people that have it to this forum.

oh man, where do I start with my list :P

PS1

Metal Gear Solid - Cleared both endings (Otacon and Meryl), Unlocked Tuxedo Snake and Red Ninja, Recieved the Big Boss Rank (only hard thing is the time)

Resident Evil - Im sure you all know the unlocks for RE games, but I also cleared the game with only my pistol :P (of course the Rocket Launcher came in to play at the end).

Resident Evil 3 - THE ORIGINAL MERCENARY MODE WILL NEVER BE TOPPED. OPERATION MAD JACKAL FTW!!! (also cleared this game with only a pistol)

N64

Goldeneye 64 - That game is 25% of my life (the others being Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, and Soul Calibur) and probably the greatest FPS. If any of ever wanna play online, let me know.

PS2

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance - Cleared All VR Training Missions, Snake Tales, Unlocked All Special Items (havent collected all the Tags though)

Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick - Found all spells and hidden weapons

Resident Evil 4 - Not even gonna go down this list of unlocks (RE4's Handcannon is sick though)

GameCube

Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex - 106% (because of what it took to unlock everything, I'll probably never play another Crash game)

Soulcalibur 2 - Imo, this is the best Soul Calibur.

GBA

Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced - on my 17th birthday, my parents got me a GBA SP and that was the first game I had. Stayed up all night and maxed it out.

Power Rangers: Wild Force - A repetitive, but cool game at the time. It takes 2 playthroughs to unlock every megazord.

Frogger's Adventures: Temple of the Frog - This game is simple, but requires strategy to grab all the coins and 1ups. If you dont believe me, start up an emulator.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Collected all crystals and unlocked Shredder's Hidden Stage. This is one of my favorite Beat'Em Up games. Four different characters and completely different stages and bosses for each of them. Takes a lot to max out this one.

Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku - Completed All Side Quests and found all secrets. This game is ridiculously difficult, but clearing it makes you feel heavily accomplished.

DS

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (DS) - First game I got for DS. Once again, attempted stayed up all night maxing it out, but I had to clear several times so it took maybe a week or so.

Resident Evil: Deadly Slience - This game was awesome, but the Auto-Aim made it a little bit easy, and there was no Infinite Magnum. I still never got to play Multiplayer (Didnt know many 19 - 20 year olds with DS's).

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - My favorite Castlevania game ever. Took me like a year (okay, maybe two) to max it out, but this game is worth it.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - This one was kind of short and didnt really live up to Portrait of Ruin. Still, Maxed it out in a week.

Mario Party DS - Probably the only game I played with my brothers and sisters a lot(besides Goldeneye 64), until they stopped playing games with me because I always win.....sissies.

I'm a little bit tired from all that, I'll continue this list later...

What I am saying is that in order to "max" out an RPG would require multiple play throughs with endless combinations of choices since your choices is what guides the story in most RPGs. This means you would have to max out tools, armor, magic, etc. as well as discovering all the secrets while completing the story for every class in order to claim an official max; however, anyone can max out a single playthrough. I don't think it's fair to say that this community is not capable of a single play through max, my standard of an RPG max is much higher and I wouldn't claim one unless I felt I was 100% on everything and every option but that does not mean that I haven't maxed out a single class in a play through.

Actually this game is ridiculously easy. Skipping side quests this game can be finished in under 30 minutes. Side quests also aren't that hard.

It's super easy to die in this game, and if you've never played it before, it can get tedious at times.

Resident Evil 1 is also ridiculously easy and can be cleared in an hour and a half w/ no saves, but not in your first playthrough.

I'll rephrase it to "you may have a hard time with this game if you've never played before".

No your standards of an RPG max are perfectly normal according to people in those games' communities. And no one here does that. That's what I'm saying. People here would likely say that the lengths I went to on FFX are crazy. And I wouldn't consider it a max, nor would anyone in the actual community for that game.
