Frost for MKX

Sub Zero is my most favorite character in MK and I played with him a lot during mk1-mk4 age, so I was surprised then I got to play with him again on mk9 and he became like really slow. At first didn't like that, but after giving him few test drives I started to change my mind about this approach. It indeed fits him, especially with how he is built, so Frost indeed could be his opposite and be hit and run or charge type fighter which is faster and instead of heavy blows does high precision high damage attacks.

That being said, I'm not 100% opposed to having Frost back. I liked using her in MKDA and there was an interesting dynamic between her and Sub-Zero. If they could keep her from being a straight Sub-Zero clone that'd be great.

As long as she isn't a redundant character. That's about the biggest beef I'd have with her coming back.

So at the end of the day I believe that most of us here agree that Frost has a chance to return, but only if she is done correctly this time.

That's my view on the situation. She could still fit well into the story even with the alternate timeline. I don't think, from that perspective at least, she should be off the table.

You do realize that sub zero ice moves are just a fraction of what you can do with ice based powers?

I could easily make up three unique move sets for Frost, without making anything even close to being similar to what Sub Zero can do (apart the fact that both of them use ice element). So devs could do that even more easily.

You know what is the difference? When Ed hints something/someone he usually tweets that himself. NOT REtweets someone's else post.

Maybe. I might be getting a bit paranoid with his hints, as he was hinting other characters in similar fashion (except Quan chi). So it is kinda hard to know when he is just saying something randomly and when he is dropping a hint.

Like i said before the need for other characters to be on the "playable roster" supersedes that of Frost. (i'm fine with a short cameo though.)

but yea don't take it too seriously, he posts stuff about characters all the time like rain etc.. stuff like the cyrax bus pic isn't confirmation or a hint he's just having fun.

Like BBBLP mentioned that was just cosplay and if anything it wasn't Frost cosplay it was sub zero cosplay.... it was a girl dressed as sub zero. :/
 
Frost is my all-time favorite female in this series, I'm even dressing up as her for Halloween this year. But even I know never to take Boon's Twitter posts seriously enough to get hyped about a character I want in.
