This is getting completely out of context. I don't think any of us "hate" Frost because of her being a "Female Sub-Zero". I rather liked her character development over the course of the 3D games. It's more of the fact that she possesses Sub-Zero's iconic freezing ability. I could give a shit if she's an "ice" character, just leave the spear to Scorpion and the freezing to Sub-Zero.

Revamping Frost = new character altogether...especially since her very NAME makes it clear that no revamp will ever work.
All I'm doing is calling a spade a spade. I'm fully standing by my comments about Frost, and that is final.

Guys really? Tarkatan Trash. Man that is not truth that is being narrow minded. Sub zero is a name only too. The name which has been passed to multiple ninjas. So Sub zero ain't original boy himself.
Frost is just a female variation which could have different completely different style. Even if power element is the same. For f%^k sake a huge amount of fighters use fire. No one is ing about anyone being any clone. Even thought multiple characters use fireball projectiles (Which are basically the same). But they also use specific fire techniques which are unique to them. Liu Kang Fire Bicycle Kick, or Scorpion Flaming Backflip or breathing fire.

I truly dislike OLD 3D era Frost, but if they can give her an MK9 Kenshi type of facelift, why not?

Well that is personal opinion which I am going to respect. But not a holy truth. Also I don't want her to freeze anyone too. I want her to use ice in different manner which wasn't used by sub zero (and oh boy there are countless possibilities).

Yeah imagine Ice KNUCKLES. Or breathing Ice. She would grab opponent's head and would breath ice inside him and... oh wait that is freezing... but in different manner I would say. Freezing from inside. Also to use ice as armor or to let her move around stage faster. Like to approach enemy at high speed.

Yeah, that was a mistake that'll never happen again.
Anyways, she can be remade into a character that can have different abilities with ice. It's not like there's one way you can use ice powers. Like I said, have her powers slow her opponents down rather than actually freezing them. Use icicles to impale rather than having an ice ball that freezes.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing some MK9 (non-playable) cameos, in MKX story mode too.
I'm pretty sure that there will be 12 (or more) new characters, and the MK9 fan favorites that didn't make it on the main roster will be DLC, to give the NEW characters (like D'Vorah, Cassie, Kotal and Ferra/Torr) time to shine.
I'm 100% down with MK9 favorites as DLC if they're not on the main roster.
I'm down with that.
