Frost for MKX

She's Sub-Zero's Protege so her new costume has to look like an altered version of his to signify her place and importance within the Lin Kuei. Besides, that means her old kostume can be dlc in the future.

I don't like that pic you posted. Way too much cleavage and the heel highs are ugh. Frost also seems better with short spiked up hair, it's like her thing.

Cool, Im glad to see that she will come back, I think its safe to say that Frosts future is looking fairly bright, I hope that they could eventually redeem her and have become a force for good sorta like scorpion did in this game, maybe they could incorporate some of that ice dragon stuff from Sub Zeros ending

I found a soulmate.

I thought you loved me!

I hate slutty outfits too! (No I don't I just really want you)

Technically she's still good in this timeline.

She only fought in deathmatches to survive, as she's an orphan that had to provide for herself, and most likely to test out her growing powers as well as to full her ego as that's one of the few things she had on the street. You know, what with no family or friends - just herself.

That and the way she played around with Cassie doesn't really sell her as a cold blooded killer since she could have killed Cassie early on in the match if she wanted to.

Still that didn't stop her from killing all past opponents. I take it she is "only strongest survive" kind. At least how in comics it was shown.

Also I still have problem with that plot armored fail, which Frost showed. I spent like 5 minutes looking for the ice ball she was just charging at Cassie Cage, as it was already missing in the next page.

It's a deathmatch, the owners made it clear. If you don't finish your opponent then you get killed instead.

Considering Frost grew up on the streets it makes sense she believes strength is everything since if she was weak she would have died as no one cared for her.

The ice ball seemed to turn off as she wanted to gloat to Cassie Cage as the match was won already in her eyes as Cassie couldn't even stand. Adrenaline is what pushed Cassie to turn the tides against a far more skilled opponent.

And Frost letting her guard down. Actually that move of hers (putting face THAT close) was a really stupid idea. I have seen new guys in Kickboxing Club I visit do similar mistakes and paying dearly for that, so that one element made harder for me to believe she actually managed to beat 21 opponent before that fight. Especially if she let's her ego control her that much. I don't believe that Cassie was the only case for her, where she showed so much arrogance. But again what is done is done. Still I would preferred a more silent, calculating Frost. But again, then Cassie wouldn't have won. And that is not good for plot.

I see it as plausible.

Frost easily and quickly beat her other opponents who most likely fought for the same reasons as her while Cassie only fought for fun it seems.

So Frost purposely toyed with Cassie Cage because Cassie is the daughter of Johnny Cage and had the life Frost wanted but never had. So her ego demanded that she dominate Cassie and show that she was "better" despite having nothing while Cassie is "weak" for getting everything she could ever want. That and Cassie wasn't fighting to survive, Frost was so I can see her being very angry that Cassie came in expecting the fight to be a game.

I hated how Cassie won. So unrealistic.

Of course it was cheap but at least it established that Cassie was way outmatched so the win wasn't really a one due to skill or ability. Cassie just lucked out that Frost really wanted to gloat because Cassie is everything Frost hates as she had everything Frost never had.

Nice explanation. I have to agree with that.

But still me being nitpicking Jerk. They could have made a better groundwork for her. But hey, maybe devs will surprise us and make her into a unique character, who could be called Sub Zero successor and the same time have her own unique fighting style.

I wouldn't want her. Maybe in MK11. We already have two "similar yet different" younger female characters that are similar to original counterparts.

Cassie is a similar but different to sonya an Johnny and Jaqui is a faster Jax.

Even if they changed her gameplay to be a faster sub-Zero she would just blend in with the other two as a variation of another character.

Takeda fights nothing like Scorpion or Kenshi.
Cassie fights nothing like Johnny Cage or Sonya Blade.
Jacqui fights nothing like Jax.

Need I go on?

So that is not an acceptable excuse against Frost who never fought like Sub-Zero.

Comics should give her more depth when she joins the Lin Kuei and we get to Lin Kuei chapters as other than Sub-Zero she's the only other named Lin Kuei around after he takes over. So she should have plenty more to do once that save Cassie Cage arc is over.

They're very similar is what I'm trying to say.

Jacqui has got the metal arms and military decor of Jax.
Cassie has the Acrobatics and nut punches of Sonya and Johnny.
Frost has the blue uniform and ice powers of sub zero.

I remember in injustice how bummed I was when we found out were were getting batgirl. She plays nothing like batman, but still her character is directly based off of him.

Basically I would rather just have a larger mix of different abilities and not have another ice person taking up another more varied characters slot.

My request for seeing how Frost joins the Lin Kuei is something that isn't THAT predictable.

I don't want to see either Johnny or Sonya lashing out at Frost about how she beat the crap out of their daughter and having them suggest that she joins the Lin Kuei rather than serving time or whatever.

I don't know why, but I feel this is how it could be presented to us, and I would be disappointed if it turned out something similar like that.

I would be surprised if any of them lashed out on Frost. Remember that Cassie ran away from the base and went there on her own will. Frost was just doing her job. Trying to survive. Not to mention that Cassie dragged Jacqui with her. I wouldn't be surprised if Jax were to lash out on Cassie.

Especially, during the game I got an impression that Jax and Johnny Cage didn't split up on good terms the last time they met.

The way I would like to see Frost transition into the Lin Kuei would be that she is initially apart of the special forces, where she goes through some rigorous military training which increase her strength, and helps in building her ego. And she could (this part is a bit of a stretch, but I think it would be cool to see) become semi friendly with Cassie, due to the fact that she saved her life and all.

Then when Sub Zero shows up at some point after he has reformed the Lin Kuei, he would come across Frost and offer to help teach her how to better control her cryomancy, and thus she becomes his protege and hijinks ensue.

Question: How old is Frost?

In the comics she's obviously old enough to get into a 21+ club (by comparison Cassie and Jacquie are underage, plus Jacqui mentions training for the junior Olympics), but in her game cutscene Kuai comments that she "lacks judgment", and she did seem a bit immature towards Hanzo to the point that Kuai had to put her on ice (bad pun) just so he could talk.

Also, in MK:DA, she and Sonya aren't exactly BFFs. Maybe something the comics can explore? It seems that our darling Frosty doesn't relate well with assertive women...

Sounds nice. I would love to see that happening.

She could have been also younger than 21+. The age limit might be for visitors, but for fighters? I don't really think they care as long as they can fight. Especially Frost who can freeze people (she would obviously get a free pass) Hell we are talking about the club, where killing is promoted. So for all we know, Frost could have been 16-18 in the comics.
