First Mortal Kombat, you've played?

My first was MK2 at the age of 3 in 1997.
MK3, MKMSZ, and MKT in 1999 where I performed my first fatality.
MK4 in 2002.
MKDA in 2004.
MKvsDC in 2008.
MKD, MKA, and MKSM in 2010.
Once MK9 was the last game I bought.

My first experience with Mortal Kombat (Fighting games in general as well.) was playing the Genesis version of the original at my neighbor's house when I was 11 or 12. The sight of seeing blood pour out of opponents blew my mind. The first character I fought as was Sub-Zero.

Mortal Kombat II, on Genesis, at my aunt's house with my cousins. I think it was Spring Break of 1995, if I remember correctly. My memory of exactly when is a bit fuzzy, but I know it was in 95 prior to learning about MK3's arcade release.

My first MK was Deadly Alliance. I was like 7 or 8 years old when it came out, and I was absolutely fascinated with how vicious it was.

Cyrax's chest grab fatality gave me nightmares and I LOVED IT. There's something about dark/evil atmospheres that I've always had an infatuation with. Probably why all my favorite characters in everything I like are villains, never protagonists, lol.

MK at the arcades, way back in 1992 when I was 12.

I remember people talking about this game with a character who is a spectre who incinerates his opponent and being absolutely fascinated by Scorpion. He was my favourite until I got the SNES MK which had watered down fatalities and no blood where I started using Sub Zero as I loved his freeze and shatter 'finishing move' (I was so stoked that they developed the freeze and smash further in MK2) and for some reason his game play flowed easier for me... probably being a Ryu fan from SF2 helped.

Scorpion is still one of my faves with Smoke but Sub Zero has been number one since my SNES days.

I still remember my earliest exposure to MK and videogames in general. My dad and I were playing MK4 together, I was Scorpion and he was Raiden. You can only imagine how strange it is to watch the MK4 opening, the memory is so vivid that I remember watching it in places I dont even remember, being watched by babysitters with names I cant even recall anymore.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon, it was an amazing experience.

Edit; Special Forces, it was by far one of the best MK games i'd ever play, I couldn't believe it.
Sadly standards so low nowadays :(

My first time playing MK was MK9. I'm a total newbie. But I'd still consider myself a superfan because ever since Mk9, I've backtracked, played the games, learned the story inside and out, and it's to the point where no one even invites me to play CoD with them any more because they know I spend every second of my gaming time with MK.

1992
Mortal Kombat 1 on an arcade machine, at a Pizza Hut.
I'll never forget that day.
My 23-year tradition with MK has stayed to this day.
