Mileena with Johnny Cage as a close second. They both play so smoothly, I hope Kitana plays just as good.
 
I liked Mileena as well but something about the way she played felt "off." I can't put my finger on it. Johnny came to me naturally. A perfect fit, if you will.

I agree 100%

When I first started to play as Sub I felt he was slow and the worst character on the demo.
But he's been my fav since MK 1 so I forced myself to get better with him.
If you do the right combo's to get into a freeze you can combo after the freeze aswell
He is fast and Deadly you just have to play him right
He's not Noob friendly (no pun intended)
 
Scorpion is the best by far, just awesome.

I really want to be good at Mileena, but I'm not getting her juggles. I'm having a better time with Johnny Cage, which I didn't think was possible.

Sub-Zero is my least favourite.

Sub-Zero was your least favorite!? Wow, that's terrible. How does he play compare to past MK games?

Sub was my mainstay in MK 1 and 2. Scorpion and Jade took over in MK3.

Never really liked the other MKs after that until this.

Don't get me wrong, Sub is still good, but I think they went the wrong way in making him overly slow and defensive minded compared to Scorpion's viper like strikes. Their movesets are enough to differentiate them from each other.
 
Well i played the demo and if you compare scorpion and sub zero scorpion is soo much faster who ever says otherwise is just lying. Im going to have to pick sub zero because he's awesome even tho he is kinda slow "Compared" to other 3 characters i haven't given up on him just yet.
 
How is Scorpion the least popular? I love Scorpion's gameplay in the demo...I might just include him in my fav 5 when the actual game comes out O_O
 
Scorpion feels verys umk3ish for me ..thats good!
JC is very nice and fast. (I do allrdy like him more than before somehow)
Mileena feels also good. But I havent played her that much.
SubZero is my all time Favorite since MK1 and also I've played the last days mainly with him. And yes he might be a bit slower than JC/Scorpion ..but his damage makes up for it.

They did a really good job of balancing the characters, but I think the blockstun frames need a bit of work.

It's SZ now, and Noob later.
 
I cannot assure that I will use the characters in the final game, but I liked using scorpion though. Subzero is cool, but he has an extremely defensive playstyle that makes me feel like a coward waiting until I get a free hit, I haven't made much use of his ice puddle either. Mileena is so unsafe against human players, unlike mk2 where she was more unpredictable. I personally believe JC is the best character of the 4 in the demo because of his general balance of moves and speed.
 
Sub-Zero! Although his fighting style is more defensive than Johnny's or Scorpion's, I try to play as aggressive as possible... Sometimes I get my *ss kicked, but as I go along I combine his combos and moves a lot better.

I'm curious about the other character ingame though... how they'll play.

If you practice enough with Sub Zero, you can pull off a 7 to 8 hit combo easily, on "Expert" setting.

Lol I thought it would be scorpion blowing every other choice out. He's way faster then the others so I didnt enjoy sub and mileena. Johnny was decent
