Between the lack of MK Pool streaming, and the commentators complete lack of knowledge, I have no idea what's going on in the brackets.

He did like 1 mini vortex where he only did like 8% and tricked Detroit cuz lets be honest who expected him to go for a vortex after only 8% lol.

Just straight outplayed. That scorpion made me so hype.
 
Scorpion is a low tier character but his resets can change the pace of a match in an instant if not blocked and here's proof of it!

It matters A LOT. I bet there will be a LOT more scorpions online now. People watch this matches and get ideas, you know. PLUS, Scorpion is a somewhat underused character by the serious MK players community, let's face it. It just amazes me that a C tier character fuucking spanked an S tier character. And the one playing the S tier character was DETROITBALLIN.

So, yeah kid, it matters.

There's no need for name calling.

Scorpion beating a S tier character is great because it shows that any character is viable.

But if you watched it, he barely vortexed, he played a mostly safe Scorpion.

HE did 2 50/50's that were risky. Only 2. and one of them only netted him an extra like 8-10% damage. Everything he did was safe/on reaction.

So I disagree it's not proof.

what's wrong with online scorpions? And what's wrong with them learning stuff and getting good?

I say the more people that can blow me up the better. So I can learn to deal with smart play.

He called me a Kid, and it doesn't matter what ranking the character is because EVERY character is beat able and I don't see a uprising of Scorpions a bad thing cause it's just more match up experience for me and you.
 
I honestly cannot even conceive from what depths of Oblivion did you too took the idea that I said having more Scorpions online and/or more experienced ones is a bad thing.

Why mention that fact then? It's kinda random pointless information.

You can get w/e matchup experience you want. Just gotta find and befriend the right competition.

And why mention the fact that scorpion players are gonna learn something?

You learn something Every match of every game. if not new mechanics atleast something about the way a player thinks.

But you kind of made it hard for me not to think that way when you give me pointless information. All you had to say was "I'm just amazed a C ranked character of a lesser known player beat a S+ character of a well known player" And you would've made your point on why you were surprised.

nah it's my fault I assumed he was complaining about a surge in better and more abundant scorpions. I don't think he was talking to you.


It was just hard for me to see it any other way because it's like when someone goes "OH MAN SMOKE WON!" "That means there's gonna be more smokes!" And the only reason I can think that would you tell me something so obvious is because you're complaining lol. Just my thought process.

Random pointless information? I was simply answering iViTaL's "Lol, so? Why does it matter what character he lost to?". It matters because it has some impact on the MK online community players. I was explaining why. Every single information in the world is pointless, seeing from a certain angle. "Oh, scientists have proven that Higgs' Bosson is real" "Yeah, so? It doesn't raise my salary."
 
I think it just boiled down to bad reads from detroit ballin and why he used smoke is beyond me ( so what he's higher tier ) he's known as a shang tsung and Kabal player I hate it when good players jump on the ''He better because he's S tier'' bandwagon. I think its best to stick with a character that fits your play style best.
