than the one you should coming for is Sessler the interviewer...cause it was kind of his fault Boon didn't say anything important...
 
I just watched it in super slo mo, there is definitely something in the shadows. It's either an oni or Noob in his primary Deception costume.

EDIT: It is an oni, I saw yellow eyes and gray skin, I saw when I zoomed in.

Honestly, I don't think you can really get mad at them for showing scorpion and sub zero. They're two of the BIGGEST characters in this game, so of course they're going to get a lot of the spotlight.
 
I appear to be in the minority. I usually like Sessler, but he's said several times before that he is not into fighting games. They should have got someone that is interested in the series or at least someone that likes fighters.
 
At 00:17, when they're showing the shadows fighting, one of the shadows is clearly Raiden. He's been confirmed by numerous sources, but never actually shown aside from the original trailer...was this shadow shot of Raiden in the Shadows trailer, and if not, would this count as a reveal?

and?...so does that mean other characters do not need to be shown? ...i see no logic, yes Sub and Scorp are in the spotlight, just like Mileena now, but people have their hopes high for something new, that hasn't been seen...
 
Ah, okay, forget what I said about Goro on the throne, I just watched it in HD and finally saw something moving in the shadows. I think it's an Oni, but it went too fast to tell for sure.

Yes, it was on the Shadow trailer, and one of the most easy to spot, actually. No it doesn't count as a reveal, Kahn was also on the shadow trailer, but that doesn't mean he's playable. I'm just exposing the facts, because I'm 99.9% sure Raiden will be playable.
 
...i don't think those Oni creature everybody keep mentioning or whatever it is is going to be playable character since we all know there's unlikely that someone else hits the roster besides classic characters + Quan Chi...if there's really someone new Oni or not than he'll most likely end up as dlc...

Man... we're talking about background characters... you know, like those big guys pulling the levers at Dead Pool, and that hooker-looking chick at Kahn's throne's side. No one said anything about a playable Oni character. Lol...
 
A whole helluva lot of people were talking down on that game. Personally, I really liked it. The story mode was pretty cool, and I'm glad that the 2011 story mode is going to be similar but longer.

yes i think you're right, but manner everybody started to talk about it, like is is new character made me jump to that conclusion...i mean like Boon asked if we spotted new kombatant and right after that everyone started to mention those Oni thing...LOL
