Ed Boon Teases "Unexpected Surprise" from NetherRealm

<b>NetherRealm Studios's</b> creative director Ed Boon just <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/noobde/status/137274099444613120">teased on Twitter</a> to keep an eye out for "Unexpected surprise" from <b>NetherRealm Studios</b>. He initially posted a message just a "Surprise from NetherRealm studio coming...?" but later deleted that and rephrased it to stress the word "Unexpected". See the quote below:

What do you think it is? Leave us <a href="http://www.trmk.org/forums/showthread.php/26006-Ed-Boon-Teases-quot-Unexpected-Surprise-quot-from-NetherRealm-Coming">a comment on this story</a> what you think it is. Then we can tell later if the surprise is really as "Unexpected" as Ed said it will be.

<b>Updated:</b> <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/noobde/status/139039509093421056">Ed Boon later Tweeted</a> that they have three surprises brewing. Only time will tell on what these end up being.

I was gonna say MK9 DLC but.. I remember that Ed denied a new mk and before that there were rumours of a movie lined up and also a new mk. He said no to the game but the movie thing turned out to be true a few days after so I'll just say MK 10

Well it's not MK Mythologies HD or new DLC or some sort of "Ultimate" MK9 (and thank goodness for all 3)

MK movie and/or game announcement is what I'm going with. I know the movie has already been announced sort of but maybe a bit of concrete news could be the "surprise". Thats what I am going with - even though even a game/movie revelation seems farfetched...or does it?
 
Unexpected... Hmmm...

Here's my top three:

- Sequel to The Grid
- John Tobias joins NRS
- Sequel to Shaolin Monks (or a game with that type of action-adventure.)
 
I don't know but it's killing me to find out!!
I just don't think it's going to be anything DLC or MK9 related.

So i though its like a puzzle :)) for instance, Mortal Kombat 9 coming to PC with all the DLC + a few new characters. What do you think guys? :)
