Ed Boon counting down to something on Twitter?

I'd be A LOT disappointed if it was MK vs DC Too (as Ed has been joking with it :laugh:).

Considering the logo and that MK9 was left on a 3-year cliff-hanger, though, I'd say that MK10 was due first before another Injustice game.
 
I'd laugh if Ed was trolling the MK logo and it was actually for an MK action-adventure game, rather than a fighter.

It's been way too long since Shaolin Monks, and a new action-adventure game would be a nice warm welcome too, at least IMO.
 
I doubt it. The broken bones makes me think of X Ray attack.
And if it were the adventure game, it would probably be Fire & Ice. And the poster doesn't represent that at all.
 
There is no way a poster that violent would be for MK vs DC 2.

Anyways if it is MK10 I really hope the rumors are true and they are going to realism in terms of graphics this time around.
 
Wouldn't this game by default be a lot darker? Netherrealm is invading after all. I'm really looking forward to it though. I wonder if they will make it as similar to MK9 as they can or go for something different. MK9 and Injustice played noticeably different. I just hope they don't go for all those stage hazards from Injustice. Those were so annoying.

Agreed with not having stage hazards, as far a using stage objects as weapons.

Knocking people into different stages, on the other hand (like MK3, UMK3 and Injustice), would be cool to see.
 
I don't see them adding anything from Injustice.
The whole reason they added things like environment interaction and back to block was to differentiate it from Mortal Kombat.
 
Hitting people through different stages has been around since MK3 and Ultimate MK3, though, and was even in the 3D era.
 
I think it NEEDS to be MK10 because of that big ass cliff hanger at the end of MK9.

but maybe the spine poster is because of Sub-Zero? Sub Zero Mythologies 2 confirmed! haha
 
The poster is too violent and there's nothing advertised for superheroes so DC is definitely left out of this one. I'd put all of my money on it being mk10 cause "whose next" even sound like a tournament style tag line. If it ended up being an adventure game, I'd be happy too. Who knows, maybe they'll add a conquest mode like in deception although I doubt it.

With that said, I hope they do as good of a job as injustice or better on a story mode. I think injustice had far better writing, voice acting and tone to it's story. I'm more of a mortal kombat fan than DC too.
 
I'm sure we'll get a teaser trailer and info at E3. That's how the reveal for mk9 and injustice worked at least.
