I remember the hype leading up to Mk9 and my excitement when i woke up (i believe it was January) morning when that 5 sec peak of Liu Kang popped up in one of the Mkast :). Cant wait for Mk10

This is gonna be fun! I'm excited for the hype, returning members, and new members coming and the things you named. Mostly excited for the specualtion that's gonna be going around the forums.

I actually wouldn't mind it that much, considering I've been really getting into the whole DC Animated Universe Batman movies recently, my love for him has reached new heights to the point where I'm even considering playing the Arkham Series and I'm not a huge Action/Adventure game guy.
 
Seriously!! If they make another DC b******* instead of MK10 I am gonna complain to the Elder Gods...
... but as usually, they would probably do nothing :???: ...damn

MKvsDC had a lot more problems than Fatalities, although they DID suck.

My personal MKvsDC gripes are:
- Klose Kombat
- Free Fall Kombat
- Rage Mode
- Pre-determined combos

I hope the next game is either an MK action adventure game, MK10 or Injustice 2 (or "Too," as Ed is joking around on Twitter).
I hope we never ever see MK vs DC again.

Free-fall Kombat and Rage Mode were just as bad.


Free-fall Kombat = Here, press some random buttons via a QuickTime Event, which takes absolutely NO skill.
Rage Mode = Here, get some free unblockable hits on the opponent for a good 7 second window, or let your opponent get some free unblockable hits on you, if you're on the receiving end.


At least in MK9, with X-Ray moves, if you block or the X-Ray is missed it leaves you open so there's some risk to take, plus you also have to decide if you want to burn up EX meter for it or not.


I really hope the next entry isn't a cross-over.

All of those minigames were just plain retarded. At least you can block or dodge an X-ray, like you said, plus it looks cool as hell and feels good when you land it. If they do make another crossover, it'd better be perfect. I wanna slice Ryu in half, not stomp on him like some kid at a playground. It doesn't need to be watered down. I mean, what would Scorpion really do to Batman?
 
MK vs DC had the best gameplay of any Mortal Kombat fighter prior to 9.

I was deeper than the 2d games and wasn't sluggish like the 3d ones.
