Did MK scare you when you were younger?

Also the Pit, with the dude's head on the spike. Holy shit that scarred me for life..

This.

I loved MKT, but the Pit Bottom would creep me out and make me want to stop playing, very much like Silent Hill and Resident Evil would do back in the day.

As stated by Sky Valley, the music and everything in this game was unsettling and dark.

When I was little, there was something about MKII that scared the hell out of me. Not the gore, not the violence... the engine scared me to death just because it was so quick - I never knew what to expect, who was going to pop out of where or where I was going to get taken. I was so little at the time I actually had to call my mom into the room before my fight with Jade. Why? Because at this point, after having several nightmares about it I was 100% convinced that my SNES cartridge was possessed.

never scared me i just thought it was cool, i do remeber playing mortal kombat 2 on the master system and remeber doing the kombat tomb fatality on it when my friends younger cousin was there. He was terrified he ran out of the room, never understood it because on the master system game gear ports the fatalitys looked like nothing and people would explode into bacon fries and pork scrathings. Oh god remembering the haunting soundtrack of the master system ports, good god , actually in hindsight they terrified me lol

Yeah i was scared back in the day when dan forden pop out of the screen in mk2 genesis version where he looked alot creepier XD

I let my father in a movie video store, there is a MK2 arcade box. I looked at it, see Baraka and afraid. Then I kind of do, you know you do not want to see it...

baraka was ****ing scary in mk2, the motion cap, plus his eyes were pitch black. Unlike today he looks like a total joke because they were too lazy to even change his face the slightest from MK vs DC. If they would have given him souless demonic black eyes like the original, he would have been actually scary in this game.

The Pit III stage fatality was pretty violent. I don't really know why it scared me though.

Also, Motaro from MK3 freaked me out, too.

The MK:DA intro when Lui Kang got his neck snapped. That scared the hell out of me when I was five at the time. Also the music before the fatalities in that game, but I was still in love with it.
