I decided to play some more DOA5 after the patch ( finally ) and its a definitively better but I do feel the netcode is not particularly good. I've tested both wired and wireless connections to make sure its not anything on my end but didn't notice any real difference in performance. I think the game should get at least one more patch but this time TN really need to not rush it but test it properly and make sure the online is smooth as they can possibly make it. It hurts me so much to learn from my mistakes when there's lag and input delay involved but even with that I'm still enjoying the game.

And all anyone does online is try and grapple you to the ground, I got to figure her out to fight well. The majority of the time I can get out of a ground hold, they go for a mid punch or low punch (can't think of the commands now), and that mid punch has a ridiculous advantage.

**** this game. I downloaded that costume pack round 2 thing, coming with the Special Set, Kitty outfit set, and the other set.

Well, there was another pack called the bunny bikini pack. I downloaded it and got nothing. I just looked it up to find out what's wrong and turns out it was the Kitty pack, even though it's named the Bunny Bikini pack.

So I just wasted 5 dollars.

I'm furious.

I didn't know about the costumes, but that sucks. Honestly, the only costume I like is the Hayabusa one. But would other people be able to see the costumes?

I like the Hitomi and Mila maid costumes.

I can't remember them all off the top of my head right now but the kitty costumes are fine. Nothing bad, but fine.

I didn't like any of the DLC costumes really. I wish they would bring back Hitomi's tanktop/jean costume from DOA 3 or 4, and Christies tanktop/firepants from4.

I would also like Helena's opera dress, the Arabian outfit from Ultimate, or the green dress from Dimensions. Right now her costumes suck.

DOA5 DLC Costume Rundown (Because I know you all care)

Spoiler:

Kasumi: Her new overalls are ok, nothing special. They feel related to her other costume with the dress and garden hat on. Nothing spectacular but at least it's something different from all her ninja gear and robes.

Mila: The maid outfit is fine. Again, nothing exciting and it kind of reminds me of her diner waitress outfit.

Rig: I love this! It reminds me of Jann Lee's bouncer outfit. It kind of makes me want to use Rig more too just to use the outfit, lol.

Lisa: The dress is pretty awesome and elegant but the La Mariposa costume you get too is alright. It's a lot less colorful than her other La Mariposa outfits so at least it's different.

Leifang: I loved her costume with the shirt, jacket, and tie so I'm welcoming this costume as well. Panda bear shirt with a black skirt? I can dig this.

Hitomi: She got a maid outfit as well. Don't know why though. I'd expect some different casual wear for her as well.

Hayabusa: I don't know what the hell is going on here, lol he looks like molten rock in a human form. Pretty badass though.

Kitty costumes speak for themselves. They're fun to show off online but nothing to go head over heels about.

Overall: Worth the money? No. But not a COMPLETE waste I guess. I wouldn't want a refund but I'm certainly not encouraging others to buy it.

Oh, and I'm loving the modifications you can make to costumes by pressing certain buttons. I like using Mila's Victoria yellow outfit without the helmet on and her tank-top outfit without the towel around her neck.
