I still say she's a fairy! Nasty_Freak is single-handedly responsible for that character! Tinkerbell does NOT belong in MK!

im not sure about the gameplay... it was a lot more over the top than usual. firstly, it looks more like injustice than mk. secondly, the jumping distance was ridiculous, like at one point I think I saw scorpion jump from one end of the arena to the other. thirdly, I didn't see scorpion use his spear for 'get over here', only to burn sub? hopefully it was just an EX or something.

I don't know yet, but I will form my opinion once I see more.

oh and im not a fan of the new chars. I am open minded to new chars, I loved skarlet from the moment she got announced, she really seem like she fit in to the OG roster. but the 2 new ones seem so out of place its not funny. they look more like DC world injustice chars

EDIT: I should also add that the sub zero fatality where he breaks the guys spine with his hands... that has to be the most painful fatality I've seen yet. out of all the ones Ive seen over the years that definitely made me cringe a little :s not sure how I feel about that

They're a hell of a lot better than 90% of the post MK3 characters.
 
Sometimes I swear MK fans would be happier if the only new characters were different color swapped ninjas. These new characters look better than anything they've come up with since MK3 (Stryker and Sheeva both sucked btw). It's not like MK is known for it's character originality.

Liu Kang - Bruce Lee
Johnny Cage - Jean Claude Van Damme
Raiden - Big Trouble in Little China guys
Ninjas....

People need a reality check.
 
they are better then any thing mk3, i dont get why every one loves mk3 it was the worst of the 2d era..designs sucked. fatals sucked it was a joke ....the new guys are only 3 we have seen....and its about time they had new ones god damn LET GO OF MK3 jesus, stryker , sheeva? god damn...the game sucked ass, i understand you all hate the new ones, aside from a few...but they need to make news or mk will go stale...you go no idea what else they will show, the new guys could end up being amazing

Does anyone think the Aztec dude could be Kenshi's new rival? I think I remember someone on the old Midway team saying Kenshi, like in the movie Highlander, would search the world for the greatest swords men and battle to the death. That was one of my first thoughts when I paused the video on the new character.

As a quick side note: I loved MK3 dispite other's opinions on it but that doesn't mean I won't accept anything new. I'm going ape shit over all this new stuff. New is great after 20 plus years.

No just characters and story that stays true to the feel of MK-MK4. If you call what we got before the reboot progress then yeah give me MK3 in a new package.

Personally I would love to see every single MK game redone individually and when they get to MKA they can re-reboot the series back to MK1-3 and we can do those over again and then we can do the 3D games over again and then we can go back again without ever ever ever moving along with the actual story.
 
why all the hate? I just said im open to new chars but I didn't like the ones they've shown so far. I didn't say anything about having classic mk3 chars only? on that note, I did like the mk3 chars like stryker and kabal I don't know why everyone hates them. im indifferent to sheeva. but as RonnyRAGE said, the new chars just don't look like they put a lot of effort into them.

im not liking the bug lady and not really a huge fan of Bane. they definitely could have made the bug chick look better, she had potential. she reminds me too much of Karliah from Skyrim. has the hood and everything
