I find it cool that you are so passionate about the Blurays and getting the original versions. But at the same time I find it odd that you don't seem to be nearly as upset at what happened with MKAK. Well, I guess the difference is if you *really* want the original arcade versions there are other ways to do so other than these releases, whereas with Star Wars you can't exactly go out and buy picture perfect film reels of the OT movies.

Because Star Wars is important on a galactic scale.
 
Ok. Personally, I could care less about the weirdass dragon call of Obi's, and I may be the only one who likes that they upgraded the Phantom Menace Yoda into CG, but still. That NOOOOOOOOOOO just fails on so many levels.
 
To be honest I wouldnt have even noticed the changes if people didnt point them out but Im not a die hard Star Wars fan like other are and I enjoyed the new trilogy.
 
the new darth vader one has got to be a fake. Lucas has done some dumb things in the past, but this is just.....no.

I bet it's someone pulling a prank, and releasing a fake video with the real ones just to mess with us.

but theres alot of people whining and complaining on the web because they made the Ewoks blink now. Yes, you heard me, people are actually pissed because they made the ewoks blink........wow, seriously? A bunch of teddie bears are given realistic eye features(something they only dreamed of doing back in the 80's) and the fans go apeshit. I'm sometimes embarrased to call myself a starwars fan.

But I think the hatred for any of these new changes is most likley caused from that god-awful darth vader voice. I guess it must be that bad ,that it makes people hate even the good changes too
 
Im not SW fan per se, the movie I saw more times is Revenge of the Sith, I saw it 3 times, then other 5 movies, I saw them just once, but anyway I really like the franchise, and I like the new changes like the more realistic Yoda and the fact that the Ewoks blink now, and about the new "Noooo" I just don't care.

But this comes from a person that thinks A New Hope is the worst movie of the franchise along with The Phantom Menace, both are very boring IMO.

Yeah, the blinking is no big deal to me at all and it's stupid that people are even whining about it, but that Vader voice sucks ass, and it was one of the best parts.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

They must have a reason to do it, maybe they'll announce something about it.
