Cyrax Thread - "Safeties Disabled; Combat Mode Engaged!"

Cyrax is my main for sure. If I use his EX teleport its usually to from a corner, best part is it can pop them up in the air and if you are quick enough you can pull off a small combo before they hit the ground, Trust me, if you are getting rushed in a corner and need a quick escape, EX teleport is perfect. Also, I use his anti-air to move around the stage quickly instead of teleport, it can really throw people off when you use it to cover a lot of ground without teleporting.

2,1,2 is really good because it is untechable. I think. Free bomb trap if you do that them in the corner. (1:00 minute mark at first youtube video)

People that are on top of me during my knockdown, I tend to use EX Teleport. I feel it is a good option selection should they decide to jump over me. Then EX Airgrab comes out.

I haven't really found much use for ragdoll or EXragdoll though. I am testing it out. I do know it allows for a free jump in punch should they decide not to back tech.

I tend to save meter for EX net reset so that they can't breaker out of mixups, but I usually find myself with more than enough meter to play with.

Lastly and one of the best things about Cyrax (because only he can do it)
BREAKER BAITS!
Should you get them in net and they have meter to break, EXbomb, close bomb, 2,1. Instead of doing mid bomb, should they Breaker the 2, 1, they eat a bomb. So good.

Edit: messing around with your combo videos. I manage to get a 95% combo using 1 unblockable in corner, starting out with a jump-in punch. Pretty practical too. pretty broken T_T Mind you, that unblockable in corner is almost impossible to get out of. Oh, this is without using command grab too! Oh best part? 1 meter.

Cyrax CAN 100% you with 1 combo.

I think you must have been trying the EXteleport to 3~net with robot cyrax. It only works using human cyrax and it works on anyone! Robot cyrax can only get a free d+1 after an EXteleport.

You must explain this 100% corner combo! Im guessing its a damage reset / trap combo?

Ive managed an 85% (midscreen), double bomb, damage reset combo..

uf+2, 3,3~net, uf+2, 2,1~EXbomb, midbomb, 1, 2~close bomb, 2~buzzsaw, u+2, b+2, 3~EXbomb, 3~EXbomb, 3,3~ragdoll......85 damage!

The damage resets after the buzzsaw at 43 damage, the rest of the combo does 42 damage! Altogether 85%! The only way they can escape is with a breaker.

Im going to test some of your setups tonight! please post that 100% corner combo!
 
I got some work, I'll post the details later, but for now. They have to me somewhat 2/3 of the stage(hitting them to the right wall).
but it shouldnt be hard to push them to desired spot when they are netted.

uf+2, 2,1 net, uf+2, 2,1~EXbomb, midbomb, 2,1,~close bomb, backdash, 1~buzzsaw, net, backdash, 2(whiff), 1(whiff), b+2(should be knocked down in corner now), close bomb, [2, 2], u+2, b+2, net.

That right there is about 95% ending with net.
The significant thing to note about buzzsaw reset is that it allows you to net again.
[Bracketed] part means they are in blockstun with the corner bomb trap off 2,1,b+2

can you explain that a little further?
 
Heres a big damage combo with no damage reset...

uf+2, 2,1~EXbomb, midbomb, uppercut, b+(2), 3~EXbomb, 3~EXbomb, 3~net, teleport, 3,3~ragdoll.....71 damage

Its the biggest ive found with no damage reset.
 
Scratch that last one, i just found this!

uf+2, 2,1~EXbomb, midbomb, uppercut, b+(2), 3~EXbomb, 3~EXbomb, 3~net, uf+4, uppercut....72 damage!

Tested on the smallest character, Jade.

Pretty sure that would be his max (midscreen) without damage reset.

I can do almost the whole combo with no problem but I can't manage to get that net? I actually get to shoot the net but it just goes through the opponent because he is too close to the ground? or already on the ground? How do you manage to do it so quick?


EDIT: I got it! Practiced ALOT!, Tony-T, IDK how you got 72% but I did the exact thing and is 70%.

You have to get only the 2nd hit of B+2 to hit. If you get both hits to connect the combo becomes harder and slightly less damage. Props if you got it to work using both hits of B+2 though!
 
LOL i just found a 69% combo from the bomb trap, no meter used! If i use meter he would probably have close to 100% combo!

Ill do some testing using meter and see what i can come up with..

Ok i did some testing with the bomb trap combo. The most i could get using 3 bars is 83%, wich i think kinda sux considering its only 14% more then the meterless version. The damage scailing seems all wrong. Anyway, its a pretty beastly combo! The best part about it is you can use X-Ray in the combo instead and get the exact same damage, only its much easier to do! So Ive created a bomb trap X-Ray combo that does 83% damage!

By the way guys im making a new combo vid with heaps of high damage and new idea combos. Ive posted a few of the combos on here already but theres plenty i still havent posted. Ill try and have it ready through the week, or at the latest next weekend. stay tuned :)
 
somebody was asking about using teleport.
I use maybe 8-10 times in one match. its very useful for me.Most things i use are teleport ,airthrow and some 18% combos after net.Cyrax is very quick and its good.
I was watching those videos here...and its nice..with bombs and stuff.
But i belive you cant beat in online all with that style.or can u ?
I havent played so mutch also... but my rank matches are played only with cyrax and its 62/30 at the moment....best streak 15

Other thing... i dont see mutch people playng with cyrax in online.In one way its good :)
but its nice to try cyrax vs cyrax...and not with rookie.

Does that 83% involve any resets? also tell me the COMBO PLEASE! Ha ha
 
Hey i was messing around with cyrax so i can get both the robots down pat (csz dont count lol)

i found another bomb trap..sort of its 1 meter 13 hits 47%
12exbomb medium bomb(medium bomb immediately after the EXbomb!)
uppercut (then wait til they fall back on the medium bomb)
12net 33ragdoll

Not sure if this was posted but its pretty devastating when you land it.

UF+1 2 1, Sticky Bomb, Mid Bomb, B+2, 1 2 1, Anti Air. I think it's 57%. It's my main combo with Cyrax and I can consistently pull it off.
